Perfect Combination Of Function And Value
I am so glad to have found these little jewels. I've used Plackers flossers for years and am impressed with their quality and economical price (they actually make the perpendicular flossers I can actually use; I can't get my back teeth without giving myself lockjaw with the standard kind!). So I had good expectations when I found these and was not disappointed. I have struggled with not so much grinding my teeth but with pressure, clenching at night. I discovered this the hard way about a decade ago when I had to have two very expensive root canals due to subterranean (haha, my term for periodontal) cracks that showed up with agonizing suddenness. After dealing with that situation, I obviously began using one of the name brand standards that you boil and fit, which actually worked very well until it wore out after maybe a year or so. I really liked and had a great experience with that one. However, my attempts to form another one did not work for some reason, I think due to some teeth shifting and change in my bite following the root canals. And when I did form one, I was uncomfortably aware of it and couldn't fall asleep due to the distraction. I tried about every other economical version on the market, but couldn't find one that either worked or was comfortable enough to stay with. I didn't want to invest in a super expensive custom professional one unless absolutely necessary. So I felt some hope when I stumbled across these on Amazon when shopping for some other dental products. At the price I figured they were definitely worth a shot. I was tired of wasting money on things that didn't work. I was pleasantly impressed and relieved. They are VERY lightweight and comfortable. They have flexibility to adapt to my bite without tension and discomfort. And basically feel like wearing a comfortable broken-in pair of jeans or shoes. Perhaps the only negative thing I have to say, based on other reviews, is that they may not work well for everybody since every body is different in shape and size. They do tend to run a little on the small side. It may be an asset in the sense that they take up as little space as possible. For me they separate and cushion my teeth enough to do the job. But they may not extend back far enough for some. Another consideration is clenching versus movement. I need primarily the cushioning and vertical separation and don't really grind. Grinding could probably cause them to dislodge fairly easily. Just because they're disposable doesn't mean they can't be used for a good while. Another reviewer mentioned about cleaning them between uses. Absolutely! Because of their lightness and flexibility they will eventually wear out. But with the price, fantastic comparative value. I plan on staying with these. They've given comfort, protection, and peace of mind in preventing the prospect of another fractured tooth. Weirdly, I actually look forward to popping them in at night. I hope this helps someone. Certainly worth giving a try and may just be a good solution. Anything to cut down on dental problems and expense! (As an aside, I have to put in a plug for the toothpastes with hydroxyapatite. I've experienced good results with those for dealing with periodontal deterioration, sensitivity, and mitigating softening enamel.)

Great Value!
I clench my teeth at night -- so badly that my jaw aches -- and trying to keep myself from clenching was keeping me from sleeping. These have made a huge difference. I still clench but the results of the clenching are much less. I like that they are disposable so that I don't have to bother cleaning them. They fit well in my mouth and are comfortable. They are not bulky.

Very nice and comfortable
The only reason for four stars is because it tends to ride a little bit high or low depending on if you’re using it for upper or lower tends to ride up against the gums a little bit it’s just slightly uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it, but these were recommended by a TMJ physical therapist And I really like them. They’re very comfortable very easy to use and they’re durable and they’re not too bulky like some other others.

Affordable, comfortable, and they work!
I have tried so many of the guards you have to heat and shape and none of them work. Faced with another expensive night guard from the dentist, I tried these because there is no shaping involved. They were comfortable from the first night, plenty of cushion and no teeth hitting teeth. I’ve read some reviews from people who thought they didn’t fit, but they fit me perfectly. I’m pretty sure I have an average size mouth, if anything, maybe slightly small. I know I won’t be going back to expensive night guards. And I clean these with Listerine and use one over and over, so the package will last a really long time. I’m so pleased I found an affordable, comfortable solution. Will definitely buy again and again.

Love these and a great replacement for the other brand
I used to buy Dentek brand of ready fit disposable mouthguards, but those have been discontinued. I bought these thinking they were a replacement and they definitely are! They are comfortable and last longer than they say, depending on how much you grind your teeth. I am going to buy another box just in case these get discontinued!

Better than it looks
I really didn't have much hope for this looking at this page as it seemed small, flimsy. I ended up getting Plackers since the full OTC guards I have I apparently do not like as I pull them out and throw them on the ground overnight with no memory of doing it! I just find them in bed or on the floor. These stay in my mouth, does its job and I like not having all of my teeth/most of my gums encased in the guard.

they're just ok
First off these are very small-they look kid size. 2ndly, these do not go on your upper molars, as some reviewers thought-then complained when they didn't hold in place-These are designed to just sit on top of your lower teeth. There is no way to attach or hook them on to your teeth. I don't understand how anyone thought these were to be worn on their top teeth-smh. BUT anyway-there is a thin band that wraps in front of your front lower teeth and there is a cushioned part that sits ontop of your molars-presumably for you to grind against. What I found is that these actually are ok-somewhat comfortable BUT I feel like the cushioned part is a little too thick-it tends to prop your mouth open vs being able to close your mouth and use these guards as a buffer between your upper and lower teeth. I'd like to find a way to shear off or whittle off a bit of the cushion girth so as to be able to rest my teeth against it. PLUS they are small-now my adult mouth is small, but even so, I found that the guard didn't fully slid up over my lower molars-it kind of tilted out a bit as it didn't quite fit-SO, I'm not going to use them and am glad they were not expensive. I like the design, and would like to find something that allows me to bite my molar pattern into it, but with the ease of the skinny front band that just slips over my teeth-allowing me to rest my mouth in a natural closed position while still giving me the buffer between my teeth-I need a hybrid of the boil to fit your personal tooth pattern and the ease of this slid on design and it's lower cost!

I bought these as I had been recommended by the dentist and physio to get something to help with teeth clenching at night. I didn't like the idea of having a massive gum shield in my mouth at night. These are really slimline, and although I am aware of it in my mouth during the night it was comfortable. My only concerned on environmental aspect, is that you have to have a new one every three days. And if I need to wear one long term I may look into getting something more permanent.

Best product for protection of your teeth while asleep. A tad bit expensive as this is a daily use product that is disposal after 3 uses, so you're actually paying a premium because there is no parallel product in the market.

The left is a new one, the right is one I wore for 3 nights. They look small, but they fit the bottom row teeth very well. I had some jaw and ear pain for a few weeks and after wearing them every night for a few nights, the pain went away. I still wear them, and as the picture shows, I have some serious teeth grinding at night. They’re soft which makes durability not very good, but they’re not uncomfortable. The first night was a little uncomfortable, but I got used to it. All of these tabs come individually packed except for the display one, which doesn’t. A box can last me 2 months, which is well worth the cost!
