Good quality and cheap price! Perfect for my artist’s or people who DIY! The paint has a decent normal smell. The coverage is insane!! The blend ability is very good and perfect for people who like to blend colors. There’s a nice application that’s easy to squeeze out. The drying time is also short and can be awesome for people who like to do things fast!

These are craft acrylic paints, and they all work really well no matter the brand. They may not be professional-grade, but they perform perfectly. Some colors may need more than one layer for full coverage, but that’s very easy to work with. They’re extremely affordable, easy to find, and the variety of colors available is amazing. The only tip I would add is that if you can, consider getting a professional-grade white for very bright final highlights. Craft paint whites are usually not as strong or opaque. Overall, a great value and very fun to use.

I got good coverage with two thin coats. Dries quickly and cleans up easily with soap and water. Great value for the size and perfect for crafts, touch-ups, and detail work.

Great coverage and a huge library of colors to choose from. Apple Barrel is cheap and gets the job done. it is super versatile and can be used on a huge number of crafts. I use it to paint wargame miniatures and it works great. some has a glossy finish others matte. The bottle are a great size and will last a very long time. they have various consistencies but tend towards creamy. Let me offer a little bit of advice get a bag of marbles and drop one in the bottle. this will make it easy to mix with a vigorous shake. It dries fairly quick which can either help or hinder depending on your needs.

I love this! The color is very strong and prominent so I don't really have to worry about layering. The appearance wet and dry is amazing, and I don't have to worry about how light it'll look afterwards. It's very easy to use and safe, so I recommend for anyone who's interested in arts and crafts or someone with little children who want to paint! It's very easy to wash off and it doesn't stain your nails. The thickness is nice, not too runny or too thick. However, if you don't use it for a long time, make sure to shake the bottle so you can mix the oil and paint back together again! It's so fun and I love it! It works so good on many different surfaces like wood, canvas, and even paper!

I bought a ton of colors because the price went way down. I'm not going to review them one by one, so here is a collective review for all the Apple Barrel paints. I've used this brand acrylic paint for over 20 years. The paint is awesome. I believe it's mostly non toxic, tho I would advise against eating it. The colors are vibrant and stay that way. I have rocks that I painted 10 years ago that still look great, even some of the ones that were outside! I just recently began crafting with polymer clay. This is a new medium to me and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Sometime pieces need to be painted so naturally I grabbed my Apple Barrel paints and went to town. The paint sticks to the polymer clay great! It looks really good too. I will attach a picture of some miniature food I made for my dollhouse out of polymer clay and was painted with Apple Barrel paint. The ruler in the picture is centimeters. There's pretzels, croissants, bread, and crackers in the picture. I really appreciate all the colors this company offers as well. I know you can mix your own colors but this is so nice to have it already mixed in a bigger quantity than one time use, esp if you're like me and want to come back and paint something else the same color, you don't have to worry about matching the color if it's all from the same batch. And at the time of this writing, a huge majority of the colors are at such a great price you really can afford to get all the colors you need. When you're done working on your project, clean up is real easy with this stuff as well. I've never had to use anything stronger than just soap and water to get it off my hands. I have found this paint definitely will stain clothes, so make sure you don't wear something you don't want stained forever! As far as surfaces I painted on, I just lay down newspaper or a silicone mat and there are no problems at all with cleanup. *This is just for the defective bottle: I have used Apple Barrel paints for 20+ years and I usually get A+ product. This one either was bad product or a defective bottle, or both. It was obviously packed after it already started leaking. None of the other bottles in the entire package had issues at all - just this one. Picture is attached so you can see. Other than this I really think Apple Barrel products are fantastic and definitely highly recommend. I didn't bother with a return because Amazon actually wanted me to drive to the UPS store to return it... A 50 cent bottle of paint. It would've cost more in gas to drive to the place. I'll get over it. It was only one out of more than 20 bottles I ordered to have an issue.

Don’t bother used a few coats and placed in direct sunlight but still didn’t glow in dark couldn’t even see it waste of time & money but can’t return as I’ve opened & used it 😒

Super dark grey paint. Good flow and paint quality, nice thickness and smooth and not transparent. Happy with it, even though not as black as hoped. Be sure to put cap back on safely.
