I ordered this case because it was the recommended case by Schecter on their product page for the Solo-6 Custom. Indeed, it is a perfect fit. Like a glove. A very TIGHT glove. I have to push the guitar into the molded padding for it to fit. Quality is just okay. The plastic molded outer covering doesn't seem like there's any plywood underneath. Should do what is intended: protect the guitar. Might not last terribly long. Compared to my Road Runner or Ibanez cases, it is a step down, which is a little disappointing for Schecter.On the plus side, it is the only case I've tried that fits the Solo-6. Plenty of storage compartments, but without lids. That's fine when the case is closed, just make sure you open in with the case level or everything falls out of them.On the whole, not bad. Not great either. But at least I have some protection for a gorgeous guitar.

First off, this case arrived onetime and well packaged.Why I bought it:I bought this guitar case because I was told by 2 different Amazon representatives that it fit the Schecter 1781 9-String Solid-Body Electric Guitar, Black Cherry. I was skeptical, but I trusted them.The Case/Product:First off, this guitar case is beautiful and well constructed. It is lightweight and has a beautiful soft interior. That latches seem strong enough and the strap that doesn't let the lid fully flop open is a welcomed feature for me since I once broke a guitar case's latches at a show when its lid flopped back coarsely. Sadly, since this case is lightweight, the outer front surface is "mildly" flimsy, so it is best not to place anything on it while traveling/etc.Unfortunately, my reasoning for giving this product 2 stars is that I was told by Amazon representatives this fit my 9-string guitar; however, it definitely doesn't fit that guitar in the slightest via its widened neck. I feel other costumers need to know this to avoid the same issue I did.Conclusion:This is an excellent and beautiful case for the price. However, it is not made to fit a Schecter 1781 9-String Solid-Body Electric Guitar, Black Cherry. If it fit the guitar I was told it worked for, I might have given it 5 stars, but since I was told differently, I must utilize 2 stars. I hope this review helps.

When I bought my Solo-6 Custom (Desert Burst) at Guitar Center, the employee tried stuffing it into a standard guitar hard case. DON'T LET THEM DO THIS! He had trouble getting it to close and latch, so he just thought "oh, you just need to push harder". Wrong! When I got it home, I realized the case was too narrow top to bottom. The Solo-6 has a very thick body. By forcing it into the smaller case, the case basically bent itself around the guitar body, and he warped the neck a bit.The Schecter SGR-9SC case is the nicest case I own. The fitment for the Solo-6 is very snug, but perfect. Your guitar will not slide or jostle the slightest during transit. When I open it up. I'm not sure what people are more impressed by, the purple velvety case lining or the guitar itself! The only downside, as others have mentioned, is the lack of doors on the compartments, so picks and stuff may fall out when you open it, especially if it's not lying flat on the ground. But otherwise, great case, and I wouldn't choose anything else for my Solo-6!

I believe that the life of a guitar is highly dependent on the guitar case. I own a number of guitars including three Schecters and all of them are kept in a Shecter case, so when I needed a case for my newly acquired Diamond Solo, I knew that a Schecter case was the way to go. Amazon.com, as usual, had a better price than the music stores, and the particular case I needed was in stock for immediate shipment. The case is handsome, durable, and it was a perfect fit specifically for my guitar.As always, I read the customer reviews before ordering and some reviewers complained that there were no lids on the individual compartments. I have cases with lids and cases without and for me, I don't see why that is an issue. When this case is closed whatever is in the individual compartments cannot escape.As I understand it, this case is made for the Schecter Diamond Sola only. I highly recommend it to anyone who has that type guitar.

After waiting over 6 weeks for this case on backorder from GC. I cancelled my order on the morning of February 8,2012 and within 5 mins placed the order here on Amazon and received it today February 10,2012. Way to go Amazon. The case fits like a glove for my solo 6. Only complaint is I wish Schecter would put covers on the storage compartments I would pay a few extra bucks for that, but hey I can live with out that. Overall very pleased. If u are waiting for this item from GC CANCEL IT and get it here. Don't be a fool like I was and listen to GC's false dates of arrival the last one being February 6. I gave them 2 extra days for processing and that's when I said, heck with them and I came here to Amazon. Next time i will come here first. Lesson learned.WAY TO GO AMAZON,FREE SHIPPING AND NO TAX!!!

I got a great Schecter Damien Solo Elite guitar and was hoping it would fit in the other cases I had so I could get one for cheap. Nothing doing, longer and wider than my LP and Strat cases I was crying the blues about paying $112 to $125 for a fitted case. Then I found these on Amazon under used cases. The one I received had a banged up cardboard box but the case itself was untouched on the outside and the inside was perfect. No indication a guitar was every in it. When I put my Schecter in the case it was a perfect tight fit. $71 is an outstanding price for a case of this quality.

This is a sturdy, well made, case that fits my Solo 6 Classic perfectly. I'm taking off 1 star, because the storage compartments don't have lids on them. Shipping gets 5 stars.
