⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic learning game that truly engages a 3-year-old
This Osmo Little Genius Starter Kit has been a wonderful learning tool for my 3-year-old. The hands-on pieces combined with the iPad make learning feel like play, and it keeps my child engaged far longer than typical screen time. The games are intuitive and age-appropriate, focusing on early problem solving, phonics, and creativity without being overwhelming. I love that it encourages interaction away from the screen—my child is touching shapes, forming letters, and thinking through solutions rather than just tapping. The instructions are clear, and my 3-year-old was able to understand how to play after a short introduction. It’s great for independent play but also fun to sit and do together. The pieces are sturdy, colorful, and easy for small hands to use, and the iPad base works perfectly. Overall, this is an excellent educational investment for preschoolers and a great way to support early learning in a fun, engaging way. Highly recommend for ages 3–5.

Great for STEM based activities for toddlers, preschoolers - letter game is the best!
My friend recommended Osmo for a while but I always felt the activities were too advanced for my 2 year old (at the time) Then I found out they released this junior version. My son is now 3 years old and this is perfect for him. It comes with 2 games. A costume / dress up game and an alphabet game. The dress up one he played for about 10 minutes which isn’t bad. But then we switched to the alphabet one and he must have played it for a good 30 minutes!! He loves the little monster and follows everything he says to do. The game basically provides you a bunch of “segments” and you piece them together to make the letter. And then to use those same “segments” to make an object that starts with the letter. They give you an example of one which is great for toddlers. My 9 year old was watching from the side and eagerly wanted to play with it. Even though she is older she actually liked being able to see the suggested object and improvising her own creation. Eventually she wanted to come up with her own creation without seeing the suggested one. I felt the letter game really encourages creativity. Matching shapes and colors. Practice letter sounds. The costume game is a fun bonus but it did not encourage much creativity since you have to lay down the piece of clothing that matches the one shown on the screen. Other than that, I’m really glad they came out with a set suited for 2-3 year olds.

This game is great!
We also have the older-kid version (Genius Kit), and we have a lot of fun with it! However, when my niece (3 years old) tried to play the older one, she was too young. For her 4th birthday, we gave her this Little Genius kit, and it was perfect for her age! She was just learning letters, so she got to follow along and make each sound with the characters. She had the most fun making different faces and then seeing them get put onto bodies. It was amusing for us watching her laugh so much at the different faces walking around the screen. The shapes make it so easy for her to make designs since she is still learning how to draw (this is what frustrated her with the older-kid version: she couldn’t draw the things they asked her to draw). It seems as though Osmo has taken all of the great things about the original kit and made them accessible for younger learners! Very nicely done!

Great gift for early learner who needs another way to look at letters.
Got this for my 4 year old for a winter holiday gift. He loved it right out of the box. His Pre-k teacher suggested we try something with digital fun to get him more interested in letters because he is not showing consistency with letter yet. He’s been playing with it daily for over a week and so far he loves it. My 10, 9, and 3 year old crowd around him at the dinning table as he creates silly or scary creatures for his stories! He has put his love of puzzles to play in a whole new way to help into ease him into letters too! We have only had a few small glitches with the camera but easy steps of adjusting or waiting for the program to process fixed them right away!

Worth it but not perfect
Fun and engaging. My toddler loves the games, especially the Stories and Costumes. Keeps him entertained long enough for me to complete a couple of conference calls. He doesn’t get to play too often- maybe an hour or two per week. He’s already completed all of the stories in the game and finished the numbers game- my point being, I expected the content to be a bit more... expansive. Some of the problem solving components are a bit strange, too. One story has the kid figure out how to clean cobwebs off a chair. We tried all of the options until it suggested the crown... because it glitters. Not super logical. The set up is weird, too. Each game is its own app, and it’s not abundantly clear which app goes with which set. I’m still not sure I have all of them downloaded. Overall, it’s better than video games and provides good content. The numbers and letters and shapes apps are cool and definitely educational. Occasionally glitchy, but my kid loves it.

Must get for homeschool
The osmo system has been such an amazing system for my kids to learn on. Endless of fun and they are actually learning something while they play. My oldest loves helping his little sister learn her numbers and letters. Perfect to set up at our table while I make dinner.

Company is Bankrupt and Product is a Failure
I am extremely disappointed with this product. The company has gone bankrupt, and as a result the required applications are glitchy, unreliable, and in many cases do not work at all. I was unable to get the app to function properly, and it appears to not even be compatible with my tablet, despite no clear warning at the time of purchase. This makes the product essentially unusable. Selling a product that depends on software support from a company that no longer exists is very misleading to consumers. Had I known the company was bankrupt and the apps were no longer maintained or compatible with current devices, I would never have purchased this. This product should not continue to be sold without very clear disclosure, as it does not function as advertised. Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of money.

purchased the Osmo Little Genius kit, and it has been fantastic for my child! It’s an engaging and educational tool that helps my little one develop creativity and problem-solving skills. The interactive features make learning fun, and I love how easy it is to set up. My child is always excited to use it, and it’s definitely worth the investment for early learning. Highly recommend it!
