It's a very sturdy keychain. I wasn't sure it would be because it was so inexpensive, but it has held up wonderfully on my key ring that takes a pretty bad beating everyday. No chips or anything and it is all very legible.

Heavy and sturdy, does not feel like cheap material but the writing/engraving is EXTREMELY hard to read. I got this as part of a truck driving themed gift for my dad (along with a heated seat and peanuts). He loved it but had to hold it at a weird angle to read it. Wording is not dark
