Elgato Green Screen MT - Wall-Mounted Retractable Chroma Key Backdrop with Wrinkle-Resistant Fabric for background removal for Streaming, Video Conferencing, on Instagram, TikTok, Zoom, Teams, OBS

With COVID-19 I have had to go remote for both work and school. I wanted a green screen to provide a better professional background to my meetings. I chose this product because I loved that it was made out of fabric, and because it seemed like it was high quality. The product arrived and it met those expectations. The fabric looks high quality and the casing is very sturdy. The only thing I will warn is that it is heavier than I thought. At least 10 pounds if not more. I expected it to be lighter. Also, was a heavy pull down, but I loved that it locked at different heights, so you don't have to put the whole thing down if you don't need it. I already used it for one my meetings, and it worked flawlessly. Compared to all others in the meeting, I seem to have the best camera quality. For example, some of their backgrounds were blurry or grainy while mine was flawless. Even when I walked away from the camera the green background kept the image perfect, and my movement didn't cause any distortions. Note that the stand in the picture is not included, I bought it separately. The screen is fully extended in the picture.

Larger than I anticipated -- which is great, because I'd prefer a larger green screen over a smaller one. I can move my camera around and not have to worry about it seeing the edge of the green screen. Mounted this on the wall behind me, use it for Twitch streaming. Install was a cinch with a stud finder and a bubble level. With a good back light, this pairs very well with StreamLabs OBS chroma keying. Has a very solid, quality feel when you draw it down. No wrinkles and is a quality, thick fabric. Stops where you want it to. Makes a cool sound as you draw it up and down -- zrrrrrrp chunkachunkachunk. Makes my office less green when I'm not streaming. This product will make other streamers green with envy, and my wife approves. No complaints, quality product, would recommend.

I suspended this from the ceiling in my home office for using the virtual backdrop for zoom meetings. I am a teacher and have been using zoom more than I ever thought possible. This is a great solution. I can pull this down about a foot behind my office chair and it works great. I had a green sheet material prior to this but the wrinkles really throw off the background in zoom. By pulling this down from the ceiling, there are very few wrinkles. I mounted some 60w soft white LED lights with 3d printed diffusers shining toward me and the screen. $150 is a little more than I wanted to spend, but with this I have zero set up everyday so I think it is worth it. This unit is pretty beefy and I feel that the quality is pretty good. I have not used this very much as it arrived during the last week of classes.

100% improvement in Zoom meetings. You can wear a headset and still use a virtual background. No more crap popping in and out of the frame during calls. Pull this down from the ceiling behind you, and you will no longer have to worry about your family walking into camera range during Zoom meetings. You do not have to make your bed, or clean up potentially embarrassing items from your living room. I am very happy with the quality and performance. It pulls down smoothly and retracts easily.

The screen is as is most Elgato items very good quality. I wanted to order the free standing one, but I ordered the mountable one. I don't like that they have both on the same page with the little click button. They should be sold on separate pages as separate items. Be careful when buying that you have the correct one selected to suit your needs. Now I will have to build something to mount this one. Too big a pain to repackage and send back.

I have another green screen on a stand, and although it's great for podcasting it is a terrible unwieldy monster of a thing to keep in my office. This attached nicely to the ceiling and rolls out of view when not in use. The size is great and the aspect ratio is better than the stand-mounted screen. Well worth it.

I did the research, read the reviews and watched the videos. My conclusion? Emart has a terrible marketing department. This is a great product yet you would never know this after checking out all of the green screen products/reviews on amazon and the internet. I have no idea why this is the case. My guess is just horrible marketing. I would fire the head of marketing for this product at Emart. He or she is clueless. So why do I believe this? I created a green screen from materials at an arts and craft store - it did not work. Scratch the do it yourself approach. I also wanted a really good camera. Did research (see my review on the Brio) and went with the logitech Brio. I am very happy with this camera. But you need the proper background with the Brio as this is a wide angle camera. You need a wide green screen. I narrowed down my green screen options to the Elgato - an excellent product or the Emart. If you want a wide screen the Elgato does not have this option (at least at the time of this review). If you want an excellent virtual background you need a wide screen and this product works great. The key to me is I intend to use the green screen a lot. I want to use many different looks. I want to put myself into the picture and not make it too obvious that I am using a green screen. I have this option with the Brio and this green screen. I recommend all working from home professionals use this set up. I also use the Blue Yeti as my microphone. Good luck with your purchase!

Having never used a green screen before, the setup is easy. You can hang it from a ceiling or mount it to the wall. I hang it behind me while I stream or take photos for thumbnails. Great product and I am extremely happy with it.

Queda fenomenal colgada en el techo, o en la pared. Se abre bien, es robusta y la tela es buena. En mi caso, he utilizado unas cadenas metálicas para bajarla 30cm del techo. Viene muy bien embalada y protegida

Der Elgato Green Screen MT ist genau das wonach ich für mein kleines Fotostudio gesucht habe. Er wird an die Wand montiert, dazu muss man zwei Schrauben in die Wand bohren was wirklich nicht schwer ist. Danach wird er einfach wie eine Leinwand ausgefahren. Das ist echt cool, weil wenn ich den Green Screen nicht benutze rolle ich ihn einfach wieder ein. So stört er nicht und ist quasi unsichtbar. Da ist viel praktischer als diese ganzen Stofftücher die es so zu kaufen gibt. Und das Material ist genial. Es ist nicht nur knitterfrei, sondern lässt sich auch prima rausretuschieren. So setzte ich meine Fotomodels vor jeden Hintergrund, superschnell und einfach. Natürlich ist der Green Screen MT etwas teurer, aber glaubt mir alles was ich bisher hatte war nicht annähernd so hochwertig verarbeitet, praktisch und gut zu benutzen wie der Elgato. Ich schreibe selten Reviews aber hier bin ich einfach komplett begeistert.

dont want your GS to get dirty? Get this roller one. Quality material too, does not stretch. Can put virtually anywhere too. The only negative i have is that it was pricy.... i dont feel that price is justified. Please lower price.
