Good at first…..
I’ve had these since August and I noticed a big change. At first, it held a good charge, but that quickly changed and will only hold a charge for about a week. Now it’s barely a week. It’s really aggravating going up and down the ladder for that nightlight too often. My mom is not young, and I’m not that young anymore… so, for anyone of my age and older to keep going up and down, the ladder is ridiculous, and I wish this thing could just hold a damn charge. I expected better out of this brand.

Always meets expectations of store bought rechargeable batteries. I decided to subscribe because we never have enough batteries. I recommend buying!

Rechargeable D Battery is OK
I count not believe this battery could only hold 1.2 volts. I was always taught batteries were 1.5 volts. Not Here!!! Battery can be charged in a few hours in a correct charger. Overtime the battery will pay for itself. Not a true fan of either rechargeable C or D batteries.

Last a long time
Time is the only sign if it’s a good product and I’ve been using them for 2 full summers now. I recharge them using the energizer charger so it’s brand with brand. My portable fan needs 6 batteries and the charger charges 4 at a time. To charge 4 of these using a wall outlet it takes about 4 hours. So if you have more than 4 batteries to charge it’s going to take about 7-8 hours….no way around it. You can save time if you buy 2 chargers. When I have my portable fan on the highest setting these 6 fully charged batteries last about 7 hours but the last 2 hours it loses strength big time and then no power. In comparison to store bought energizer batteries, I can get full strength for about 14 hours and then the next 10-12 hours are soft strength. So store bought batteries last me 3-4 days of fan usage while these rechargeable ones only last one day and then I have to spend all day charging them up again. It’s just a hassle. I do find myself just paying for the store bought a lot even though I have these lol.

Bad experience...
I usually don't leave reviews...it may be safe to say that I have never left a review...but these batteries were really a waste of money for me. I first sensed a problem when I grabbed the batteries and realized how light they were compared to regular Energizer D batteries...I also purchased the Energizer charger for various sizes...that I was able to get a single use out if. I purchased these rechargeable batteries because I love to fish and always spend money on batteries keeping my bait alive with a 5 gallon bucket and an aerator...I get 3 straight days of continuous use when I use the Energizer batteries...I finally decided to use the rechargeable batteries that I purchased months ago...(fully charged them) and I got less than 10 hours of use on my aerator...I woke up the next morning to dead bait. I purchased two of these packs...both didn't last worth a damn. The charger is a whole other story...it charged my batteries one time and I can not recharge...the lights don't turn on. I am a fan of Energizer and always purchase their batteries but the rechargeable are trash...at least my experience with them. I wish I could send these back and get a refund but the return period clearly expired. Hopefully Energizer reaches out directly but I feel it's unlikely.

Good Longevity, Excellent (in my opinion) Amount of Usage Time w/ Full Charge
We purchased these originally almost 9 years ago for a baby swing that we didn't want to keep buying new batteries for. Still have them and use them regularly with the most recent baby. We need three batteries for the swing and originally had enough for 2 "sets" so we'd always have some charged and ready to go. At some point we lost 1 battery and no longer had enough for our 2 sets anymore so purchased new ones again. Now I can say that the new ones do tend to last a little longer than the old ones, but it's only by an hour or so. The old ones will still last for a good 5 or 6 hours of straight use. In my opinion, that's pretty dang good for a product almost a decade old. And they're all being charged with the original charger we purchased almost 9 years ago now too. I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone looking to save money on batteries over the long term. Another thing to be noted though is it's very easy to tell the difference between the new and old just by looking at them. Whatever the "label" is that covers these tends to fray at the tops so they don't look very pretty anymore after so many years of use and abuse. This was also the case with the AA's we had also gotten so long ago.

I recently switched to Energizer Rechargeable D Batteries for my Nerf Rival Blasters, and the difference has been remarkable. Compared to standard alkaline batteries, these rechargeable ones are significantly lighter, which enhances the overall handling of my blasters during extended play sessions. One of the persistent issues I faced with alkaline batteries was their tendency to weaken over time, leading to a noticeable drop in performance. Instead of continually replacing them and contributing to waste, I found that with the Energizer Rechargeables, I can easily monitor their performance and recharge them as soon as I detect any decline in power. This not only extends the life of my batteries but also ensures consistent performance during intense battles. Overall, these rechargeable batteries are a game-changer for anyone using high-drain devices like Nerf blasters. They offer convenience, sustainability, and reliability—all crucial for maintaining the excitement and performance of my games. Highly recommended if you can get them for a good price!
