It is very attractively designed. I purchased it as a gift for my grandson's 2nd birthday. He plays with it (not what I intended it for), and it has held up well. He is careful when he handles it, and amazingly it has taught him some dexterity. He enjoys changing the light color, then gazing at it. I would recommend it as a durable and interesting night light, especially for a dinosaur-lover!!

Great item for a kid's room. Having three different dinosaur plates to switch was an added benefit. The glow in the dark adhesive while dinosaur shapes are kind of cool. However, the color changing 3D dinosaur light was well worth the money. Great Christmas gift for my seven-year-old nephew.

My son is 4 and knows pretty much every single dinosaur. He asked for a lamp for his birthday (I know, odd) but when I saw this I had to give it a try. We are very pleased with is so far. It's been on 24/7 since 7/29 and no issues. He has the star light lamp so he likes being able to match his dinosaurs (3 in this set) with the stars and moons on his ceiling. Great buy.

First, the other reviews are right that it doesn't look 3D. It really doesn't. That doesn't mean it isn't cool, though. My daughter LOVES the nightlight. She loves the colors, and she loves the changeable acrylic dinosaurs. The three dinos included are classics, and she is very, very happy with it. A few things to be aware of if you're considering purchasing. First, it doesn't come with the box to plug into the wall outlet. The cord ends in a USB port. I would have been really, really ticked if I didn't happen to have an extra box in a drawer from a now-defunct charger. Second, the paper-based stickers on the acrylic pieces were ultra-annoying to peel off. Why not put the sticker on the cling film that's supposed to be peeled off the acrylic instead of putting it directly on the acrylic itself? The sticker left gooey residue that had to be scrubbed with rubbing alcohol. Third, not all of the buttons on the remote are working for us. Fortunately, the ones she really cares about (the colors and the flashing) work, but the dimmer doesn't work at all, and the number buttons don't seem to do anything (I'm not really sure what they're supposed to do, anyway, but if they're there, they should do something...). Overall, she's happy, so I'm happy. And I think any dino-crazy kid would love this in his or her room.

Got this as a night light for my grandsons bathroom and he just loves it. It's bright enough and he can change which dinosaur he wants it to be and the charge on it lasts for several days

My son loves it! It's really nice that you also have the red light option. The remote is a tad confusing so my son doesn't use it, but there is a simple on and off button directly on the lamp that is easy to turn on.

Definitely not 3D. It’s a 2D image (made to depict depth) on an acrylic surface. It’s good for use as a nightlight, though. I don’t like that you have to use the remote to control it. If the remote is ever lost, the whole thing will be useless. The colors are great and it gets pretty bright. It has a nice dimmer function. I do wish it got a little dimmer than it does. The colors blink in a few different patterns/speeds.

I got this as a gift for my nephew who is 3 and really into dinosaurs. He loved it. Was so excited once we took it out of box and showed him what it was. So happy I could get the perfect gift for my for my nephew. Was very satisfied.
