These lightweight brushes are actually really nice and get the job done for varnishing my canvases and paintings.

Soft little bristles and they painted a very smooth finish. I was actually surprised by the good quality of these. Affordable. They washed well too!

I love this brush, great value for it's money. However, I use it to mix and apply slip in Ceramics, and within the first day the metal rusted and there was mold in the wood. Maybe it's great for paint, just not for ceramics.

I've been using this same type of brush for years now to paint furniture with chalk and acrylic craft paint. The bristles are soft and don't leave marks in the chalk paint like some others. The brushes are easy to clean, and stand up pretty well to dry brushing, which can be pretty rough on paint brushes. I've never had much of a problem with them shedding. I've also used them with latex paint for trim and edging. They will rust if left in water, though, so I clean them as soon as I'm done and let them dry. Otherwise, they're good brushes, and they're cheap. So, when they do finally wear out, I'm not out a bunch of money.

These brushes are so soft. I use them to brush off any dirt from my Ring solar panels. They don't scratch the surface.
