earphone status
The portable radio is OK except I was planning to use this radio on my daily walks around town. The radio came with an earphone for only one ear. No problem since I was planning to use my own two ear headphone. This radio will not work with my headphone and I am not able to have speakers for both ears at the same time. Had I known this beforehand I would not have ordered the radio. This should have been noted in the add for the radio but was not.

Panasconic AM/FM radio
I listen to the radio late at night and I thought it came with separate ear phones. A bit disappointed that it did not, butI am perfectly satisfied with the radio. I had a set of ear phones which work o.k. Reception is still a bit scratchy at times.Overall I am satisfied with the product.

Easy to handle and not too heavy nice and light also he uses it every day.
Overall quality of this small phone. My husband says that he can hear it so clearly. And he thinks it is very well-made. He should know that he’s a Machinist.

Classic Portable Radio
This radio has an older design. I like the fact that it is not digital.It has the tuning wheel that gives it a real classicchannel-changing sound. Analogue.It takes 2 AA batteries which is nice.I recommend it.

I'm really happy with this little shirt-pocket size radio!
I got mine at FredMeyer for 20 bucks. Radio has very Good tone. Has a little red light that comes on when you get near the station and brightens as you get to max reception, which is a really great feature as the "tuning" dial is small, but hey, it is a small radio, right? Battery life is Very good on AM - since I don't listen to FM I can't comment on battery life for FM, but the sound is good considering the size of the speaker - - just don't overdrive it. I'm a big fan of NPR, so it's always on the main radio when I'm inside and I enjoy being able to continue following the conversation when I go outside, walking the dog, etcetera...As with any small radio, sometimes you have to turn the direction you're holding it to catch the best reception, but I'm way out in the boonies so I expected that. As you can see it has one speaker so don't expect stereo. I'm really happy with this purchase.
