I bought it twice, it's a great hair remedy. Preferably used as a hair musk. It's less stronger than pure shikakai.

I like how it makes my hair feel
I picked it up from my local Indian store for $3-4 a piece, the price listed on Amazon from the 3rd party is way too much. After sitting in my cabinet for 4 months, I decided to try it. I did have to experiment a little with quantities and time left on hair. First time, I left it for 10 min and my hair was dry as straw, 2nd time I left it for 2 min and it was nice. I mix only 1 tbsp (it is enough for my hair which is a little below my Arm Pit and not very thick) in warm water/Tea (1/2 cup) and put it on scalp and massage it. It lathers a lot making me think it might have sulfates. Leave it for 2 min and rinse. I then put a penny size lightweight conditioner on my ends and rinse it immediately. Also I have oily scalp and normal hair and I don't put it on my hair, just let it drip from scalp. Once I put it on my hair and it turned out very dry. I have only used it for a week and so far so good.

Bottles are way smaller than they look and they are half empty inside !!! Will never buy again
