Let's face it- when you buy connectors on Amazon, you don't always know if you're going to get something good or a flaky piece of trash. Happy to say that after having installed 30 of these connectors so far I have a 100% success rate with the connection. There's nothing worse than a bad connection other than perhaps an unreliable connection. These have been rock solid. The only thing I would say is that the attached panel mount screws are too short for anything other than mounting into sheet metal. So if the enclosure you are connecting these through is a thicker material like plastic or aluminum, you will likely need to get longer #4 machine screws and nuts or the metric equivalent.

I have a man cave and run a cable from the house to the man-cave wall. Use some sealant to prevent leaks. It's been since June 21st when I first installed this. No problems. It functions perfectly. it was not difficult to install, I had to find a screw that would drill into the wall. Screws and bolts in this case won't work. I really love this. On the inside is a female connector making it really easy to connect to another cable then to the router without a problem. You have to cut a big enough hole inside the house to change out the cable in the future. I recommend a cable plate. Good quality.

I've used these RJ45 panel jacks and their connectors in light show conttollers the harsh, cold Minne-snow-ta winters for the past two years and they performed perfectly in temps down to -25F, 60 mph winds, snow, rain, etc. without any water penetration in the Ethernet jacks. I used the ANMBEST 5PCS Panel Mounting RJ45 connectors for a custom D-style panel in an audio rack, and they worked great overall. The connectors fit securely, and performance has been solid with no signal issues. However, each unit's faceplate is slightly oversized, making it impossible to mount them directly side-by-side on standard D-panel spacing. Also worth noting: there's no option for rear mounting, which could be a limitation depending on your build. The bottom line is that it is excellent for isolated or spaced-out RJ45 panel connections, but keep the face size and mounting style in mind if you plan a tight layout.

They ship it all in one back and the tiny little bolts fit into the little openings inside the ports and took me an hour to shake out. Maybe consider separating the parts!

We renovated our worship stage at church and assembled our own floor boxes using the Anmbest Shielded RJ45 Cat5 connectors...they fit perfectly into the box and work exactly as we expected.
