ASUS ROG Balteus Hard Gaming Surface RGB NH02 – Medium

Bought it as used. Came brand new and sealed. Not only that, but this is a fantastic mousepad with a gorgeous aesthetic.

Gefällt mir. Die Oberfläche fühlt sich etwas rau an, aber die Maus gleitet sehr leicht. Es ist ein schickes Pad und für meine Maus mit 800 DPI ausreichend groß. Ich würde es wieder kaufen.

Bought this as I had the ROG Pugio mouse and Asus laptop so just wanted same brand HW. Firstly, this thing is big, it's about the size of a 17inch laptop, maybe deeper, the pad has 2 USB 2.0 cables that are combined in a fabric loom. One is for the LED lights, the other is to power the single USB socket on the pad. The underside as a grippy surface with ROG logo and various garb, the surface has a ROG logo, and then there are 15 LED regions. The new Asus Armoury Crate software replaces the previous software, it largely works, you can manage all your ASUS peripherals from a single place, including synching the lighting effects. However, I haven't quite figured out how to get it to synch and set the same lighting effect on startup, it seems I always have to enter the software and manually synch which is a little annoying. Another thing I noticed is that when I connect it to a different USB port, the Armoury Crate software can't see the devices to set the lighting synch which is odd. Anyway, the gaming surface itself is excellent, there is no slippage or misreads, when paired with a gaming mouse then you can tell the difference in accuracy and feel. Overall I'm happy with the hardware, but as usual the software could be improved, the gripes are very minor though, hopefully they can sort this out.

Acheté pour remplacer mon Func 1030 qui a déjà plus de 20 ans et refuse de se laisser abattre par les nuisances du temps. J'ai donc fini par m'en lasser, malgré son état encore exceptionnel. Mais il me fallait un peu plus grand et le port USB disponible à été le déclencheur d'achat. Et donc ? Ce tapis ? Ben... Il offre une excellente glisse (pour une Logitech G502X et une G903) et quoi que légèrement désappointé par son format vertical*, je peux passer deux écrans Full HD (3840p) sans à coup supplémentaire et il me reste un peu de marge pour le troisième écran vertical (*ça tombe bien finalement). Le port USB permet de connecter le dongle du clavier et ne semble pas vraiment occasionner de latence et n'étant pas hard-gamer, cela n'a pas d'importance pour moi. L'illumination RGB n'apporte rien de spécial, si ce n'est une synchro esthétique avec le reste de la config (ouais j'aime bien les p'tites loupiotes en mode Pulse Red) et on peut se passer d'Armory Crate (tant mieux). Le tapis, lourd et équipé de patins efficaces ne fout pas le camp à chaque coup de souris mais on pouvait s'en douter. Solide, efficace, esthétique ; c'est un bon produit caprice.

Mein zweites Mousepad von Asus . Eins für den Laptop eins für zu Hause. Die Ausleuchtung der LEDs ist super. Keine Lücken, keine Blindflecken. Das Pad ist von unten Gummiert. Rutscht nicht mal auf Glas. Es wird ein USB Anschluss für die Beleuchtung benötigen und einer für den, am Pad integrierten USB - Anschluss. Man kann am Pad selbst die Beleuchtung verstellen via Knopfdruck. Man kann sich aber auch Armory Crate von Asus Downloaden und vieles einstellen. Die Oberfläche ist rau. Über die Haltbarkeit kann man sich streiten. Mein erstes ist jetzt ein Jahr alt und viel in Benutzung. Dort wo die Maus viel bewegt wird ist die Oberfläche merklich glatter geworden. Hätte ich nicht so schnell mit gerechnet. Noch gibt es dort keine Funktionsstörungen mit der Maus und der Abtastung. Der Preis ist natürlich sehr hoch. Ob dies gerechtfertigt ist muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Ich bezweifle es stark. Mir gefiel die Verarbeitung und die Größe sowie die Beleuchtung. Und ich mag Asus und für einen anderen Hersteller mit solch einem Produkt hätte ich wohl nicht soviel bezahlt.
