Can this be used for scrambled eggs/omelets?

No, It doesn't fry or anything. It can be used as a egg replacement in the creation of meringue and it can replace eggs in any recipe calling for eggs as a binding agent. For scrambled egg you might want to look into buying vegg the Scrambled vegan egg mix. It works great for them. I also suggest you experiment with using chickpea flour, turmeric, and black Salt or Kala Namak. Those are what I use when doing a vegan Omelet.

Has anyone used this product for a quiche or frittata? How was it?

This product would not work for that type of a recipe. My suggestion for a Quiche or a Frittata would be to use a mixture of Chickpea Flour. Black Salt (Kala Namak) water, a little nutritional yeast, olive oil, turmeric for color, and Agar powder. The mixture blended on high speed in your blender will create a wonderful egg base for a Quiche or Frittata. I use that same mixture for a kick butt omelet also. The Orgran No Egg is perfect for making a whipped meringue or for use in cakes, pies, or any thing that needs a leavening agent or a good binding agent. The Orgran no egg doesn't supply the solid egg form which would result from frying an egg in a skillet though. I hope that helps. Orgran has created an egg product that would work for that though. That correct, all you need to do is add water. These are the instructions which are also available on the back of the box: Baking Instructions To replace 1 Whole Egg: Add 1 tsp egg replacer + 2 tbsp water. To replace 1 Egg White: Add 1 tsp egg replacer + 1 tbsp water. To Replace 1 Egg Yolk: Add 1 tsp egg replacer + 1/2 tbsp water.

Prevents heart attacks!!

I’ve had high cholesterol for more than 15 years and refuse to take stattens to lower the counts. Additionally, I have a serious pancake addiction and that too is not resolvable. This Orgran egg replacement has allowed me to feed my pancake addiction while preventing my cholesterol numbers from increasing. I recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t want a heart attach and needs to eat eggs in pancakes (or waffles)!

Great buy

Best egg replacement i have ever purchased. We are vegan and have tried them all. This works for every recipe you can think of. We bake a lot, even works for egg whites. Will continue to purchase.

Good for baking

I used this to make pancakes and also cookies for a vegan guest at Thanksgiving. The pancakes were pretty good, with syrup and jelly they were good. We also made sugar cookies with this and they were delicious. Crispy, held perfect shape with the cookie cutters, I would use any time for cookies instead of eggs.

Like adding cement to my gf baked goods😖

I had such high hopes for this egg replacer and I was greatly disappointed. I generally use chia or flax seeds in my vegan gluten free baking and those produce fantastic results so I thought I’d splurge on this stuff because it was fancy , kind of expensive and from Europe yet! Oolala! Sadly, the cookies and the cake I tried to make using my tried and true recipes came out like rocks. I mean I was honestly afraid I was gonna chip a tooth! Maybe it just doesn’t work well if you aren’t adding fats? I have a fairly strict low fat, gf/ df, low sugar diet that I must to follow due to health issues, so perhaps that’s why you could use my baked goods to break out of an actual prison, but I have to say this didn’t work for me at all and I’m kinda sad about it.

Can whip it up similar to a regular egg

This is the first egg replacer I've used that could actually be mixed with water and beaten. That's helped the texture in my baked goods. Taste seems neutral. I previously used Ener-G egg replacer and this seems to bake better.

Not for Baking

Had plans to make a cake for hubby's birthday. 1 out of the 2 happened... Not saying this isn't a good product for some things, but baking isn't one of them. ... and yes, I greased and floured the pans!

Excited!!

I'm super excited to try out this egg replacer. I'm happy with everything except that the box was open and damaged. It appears that the bag containing the replacer is still intact though.
