This is something I wasn’t sure about but honestly I love it and so many different ways to make this powder into. Taste and the quality is really good

Beetroot is really good for your heart and arteries. You can add it to smoothies, fresh juice and tea. I would advise that when making tea add half a teaspoon of beetroot powder, half a cinnamon stick, lime juice and tablespoon of raw honey. Tastes lovely. Colour is like dark red. Easy to mix. And definitely value for money. Definitely worth buying.

Picked up this Herbal Magic Organic Beet Root Powder to level up my kitchen game and add some natural colour without weird chemicals. For value for money, it’s pretty solid, you only need a small spoonful to get that rich, pinkish-red hue, so the 100g pack goes a long way. As for taste, it’s definitely sweet and earthy, which is what you’d expect from beetroot. It blends well in tandoori marinades, giving a beautiful colour without overpowering the dish, and worked surprisingly well in cake batter too (beetroot brownies anyone?). Not giving it 5 stars only because if you use too much, your food might taste a bit too beet-y (yes, I learned this the hard way), but once you find your sweet spot, it’s a brilliant natural colour and subtle flavour booster. If you want your food looking vibrant without artificial colours, and you’re okay with the earthy beet taste peeking through, this is a fun addition to your spice rack. Your Instagram food photos will thank you.
