Slightly bigger than the one I was replacing, but didn't matter
This was for a roller blind chain, and the existing, broken chain was slighly smaller, but this did the job, fixed it in about 5 mins.

Make pull chain longer
This was so easy to install. Using the joiner I cut my chain, added a new piece the right length and rejoined it. Health and safety (short chains) has gone mad, I couldn't even reach the chain on my new blind, just a metre makes it so much better.

Perfect item to repair broken blind chain.
I ordered this item to replace a broken blind chain. It was ideal for the job. Very happy with my purchase and would have no hesitation in ordering from this company again.

Watch the legal position
In the UK, it is forbidden to have chains on blinds in positions where a baby might get the chain round hi or her neck and get strangled. He short chains on blinds supplied to customers. I used this kit at the head of a staircase where no baby would be in a cot to extend a short chain that led to a risk that the person using it would fall down the stairs. The kit itself is easy to use. You do need to have a strong pair of tin snips or other sharp side cutting pincers. In addition you need to insert the extra chain in the right position as the joining links will not pass over the top pulley. I suggest getting the blind at the halfway position and making the cut in the existing chain at the lowest link.
