Great for jointing the guide wire for my robot mower ( who cuts it from time to time) - quick and easy and at a great price only just used them so not sure about the longevity but they seem fairly sturdy . No need to strip the wire as the action of compressing the blue button not only cuts into the insulation to make a good conntact but also fills the wire cavity with a waterproof silicon gel type of material

I bought a flymo robot lawnmower which is brilliant However one of the downsides is that it eats its boundary wire regularly causing it stop and need repairs To do that and get the circuit back running again ypi need to join the wires into a sealed unit and they can be pricey These are just as good as the ones that come with the robot lawnmower and do the job perfectly Ideal

Easy to use and saved a lot of hassle

Used this this product on a boundary wire which had a lot of joins covered with electrical tape . So I replaced the tape ( because it was not waterproof ) with the uni fine connectors and think that they are doing a great job. The only reservation I have is that you need to apply a lot of pressure to connect the 2 wires ie I used a hammer to lightly tap the blue top in place, after wasting 2 by not pressing hard enough. Delivery was very slow.

I was wary of these as they are not 3M, but they are absolutely fine. Not as tight fitting as 3M, but they still do the job perfectly and they are quite a bit cheaper.
