It does a great job

If you are looking for a lightweight holding spray that doesn't matt down your hair or make it look heavy this is it. Spray it on your hairbrush when your hair is wet or spray it directly on your hair to brush out, it works fine either way. And yes you can brush/comb out your hair and lightly apply as a finish. This product works well for men as well as women.

Overall, this is a high-quality product that delivers exactly what it promises in terms of hold and finish. The medium hold is perfect for my needs. It manages to keep my style locked in throughout the day—even in moderate humidity—without leaving my hair feeling stiff, sticky, or crunchy. The finish is natural and virtually invisible, which is a major plus. It washes out easily and doesn't leave any residue behind. The one major thing prospective buyers should be aware of is the application method. The nozzle produces a very localized stream, meaning it doesn't create a broad, diffused mist like some other sprays. Furthermore, the spray itself comes out quite heavy. If you hold the can too close or linger in one spot, you will quickly saturate a small area of hair. The key to using this successfully is to hold the can a good 10-12 inches away from your head and keep your hand moving constantly and quickly. Once you master this technique, the concentrated delivery actually proves very effective for targeting specific sections and ensures minimal product is wasted. Once you adjust to the powerful delivery system, the performance is excellent. Highly recommended for a reliable, non-crunchy, medium hold.

Been using this for daily styling and it does the job well. Provides a medium hold that keeps hair in place without feeling crunchy or heavy. Not too sticky and doesn’t leave any noticeable residue. Sprays evenly and washes out easily. Good everyday hairspray and consistent with American Crew quality.

Hair Spray is good enought to hold any fuzzy hair down and still able to be soft.

Product works well to quickly set my hair. I would give it five stars for the priduct. Three stars given because the bottle applicator sprays the stream instead of a mist. The packaging was poor. I ordered two bottles and one came without a protective cover.
