Needs a box
Giant stack of cards, no storage container. Also, good information... but way too much on each flash card.

You seriously need this if you are serious about the FSOT.
If I could give these cards more stars, I would. You not only receive organized study material, they provide pertinent information regarding the application process.

Seems like very insignificant info and probably not the best use ...
Too much info on cards. Doesn't really help you absorb info. It's just overwhelming and discouraging to read. I'm also not convinced it focuses on the right info. Seems like very insignificant info and probably not the best use of time to "study." There are probably way too many cards too, I haven't even gotten through all the cards yet and I have had the set for months. To be fair, I haven't put a lot of effort into them and if you wanted to get through them you could but I didn't feel it was the best use of my time and was not conducive to my learning style. ESPECIALLY with how expensive they are, I would not waste your money. The best prep I've had is reading The Complete FSOT Study Guide by Robert Clark. I couldn't put the book down and it gives a very realistic view of what is essential and what is nice if you have time.

Takes time to learn but not a bad system.
They take some getting used to but certainly are faster than tying. The black is far from in regs for USAF green boots but I've been blousing over them and has been working fine. Biggest issue is with taking your boots off, you'll have to make sure your strings are long enough to loosen the entire boot otherwise you're not getting your foot out.

I found the sections on history and government the most useful, while the sections on communications and math
Very detailed and comprehensive. I found the sections on history and government the most useful, while the sections on communications and math, not so much. The answers for many of the questions tended to be quite long. It would help to have shorter answers as the FSOT tests more on breadth of knowledge, not minute details. Overall, a great purchase!

Good range of topics, but....
...the last two cards are blank! Really? They couldn't think of two more items?!?!Jokes aside, the cards have helped with studying for the FSOT. You do have to tear them along the perforated lines but that takes about 15 minutes.Good luck on the test!

Grade: C+. Average Product. Not 100% Relevant
For those of us lazier folks who don't want to make flash cards, this is a decent product. That being said, not a lot of the flash cards have relevant questions/topics that are on the FSOT test nowadays. The information in essence, is a bit outdated and so much information that it is a bit overwhelming (could be more focused/condensed to the most relevant topics). People would be better served reading newspapers on a daily basis, reading the Bill of Rights, and studying up on geography.

Good stuff
I like that the questions are open-ended so it gives me an opportunity to learn about a subject rather than simply answering a question. But I haven't taken the test yet so I don't know how comprehensive these flash cards are.
