It does what it is supposed to do.

Having ordered these for a job and used 3 of these, the customer had complaints that one of the three sensors had failed. I checked those that were left and none worked, meaning that only 2 of the 5 devices actually worked. Contacting the seller and notifying, the seller immediately rectified matters to my complete satisfaction. This is a seller you can trust

Easy to connect to Arduino, but the range is limited.

Works fine up to a few centimetres when VCC is 5V. Does not work at all at 3.3v. Not suitable for robotics but useful for detecting close range presence or absence of things like doors pendulums or mechanical parts. e.g. optically detecting how many times something has pass by a fixed point. Will need a level shifter to work with Raspberry Pi GPOI pins.

Yeah it was OK

Out of the pack of 5, one of them didn't work and I couldn't repair it. I can't criticize the seller as this could have been damaged in transit. Luckily I only needed 3 and they worked great. So simple to set up and use. Readings can be made very reliable by taking an average of 3 readings at a time. (Thought I'd mention it as it might save someone some time)

Ich habe diese Sensoren für ein Projekt bestellt und festgestellt, dass nur zwei funktionsfähig sind.

Reçu rapidement, chaque module est emballé individuellement dans un sachet ESD. Les deux leds sont pour certains a remettre droite. Sinon marche parfaitement bien et le potentiomètre permet des réglages fin. Essai a une distance de 10cm marche parfaitement.

Zuerst einmal das Gute: unter optimalen Bedingungen habe ich es geschafft über 30cm ein Erkennung zu bekommen (Kein Streulicht aus anderen Quellen und eine silberne Folie). Deshalb der zweite Stern. Die Schaltschwelle mit dem Poti zu finden ist schon eine Herausforderung, einmal anhusten, schon verstellt. Bei Tageslicht bekommt man zwar auch einen Umschaltpunkt, der funktioniert dann aber nicht mit jedem Material. Ist die Umgebung dunkel, variiert die Abstandserkennung aber immer noch stark. Das ist abhängig vom Material des Hindernisses. Die Silberfolie und das weiße Papier z.B. wurde bei ca. 20cm erkannt, meine Hand bei 10cm und die schwarze Handyhülle erst bei 2cm. Bei Geräten, die sich bewegen und der Lichteinfall sich ständig ändert, sind diese Module nicht zu gebrauchen. In meinem Fall wird es wohl gehen (geschlossenes, dunkles Gehäuse und es muss nur erkannt werden ob die kleine Hebebühne oben steht). Wahrscheinlich wäre ein kleiner Schalter oder Reed-Kontakt einfacher gewesen.
