After I got Covid in 2019 I had a great deal of my hair fall out, so I got very particular about my hair once it started growing back in. After doing some reading as to boar bristle and other low damage types of hair care, I started looking for a bone brush and finally settled on this one. I have to say it is one of my favorite acquisitions now. I have never been able to just comb straight through my hair after waking up until I got this comb. The horn is sturdy and the handle is very smooth and well-made; it is hard to tell from pictures how sturdy something is but the comb is heavy and durable. I accidentally got the handle fully soaked in the sink, so much so that the wood turned black- it dried without cracking and is still as smooth as anything. The wood is fragrant but not strong. It reminds me of the combs my grandmother used to have. Glad I decided on this one!

For what it is, I think it is an absolute bargain! Very well made and works wonderfully. Gets my wet hair into position for the application of pomade or mouse. I would gladly buy it again.

Very nice comb I like it real well, goes through my hair easily. Only problem is I had to return the first one. The Buffalo horn was cracked in the center and it would catch strands of your hair, but the replacement is just fine.

This definitely is a game changer. I have thick and course beard and it’s not easy to use just any comb. Since the bristles are spaced out it doesn’t pull on the hairs and it removes any tangles I my have leaving my beard feeling soft and fluff . I read some comments about it breaking. I haven’t had any issues with that. Currently going on 1 month of having it. It does have a strong smell but that’s to be expected from sandalwood. Definitely a good purchase.

This is a nice comb. People always ask me, "Is that your comb?". I say "Yep. That's why it's in my pocket.".

Combs hair good. Enough space between that nothing get tangled or stuck in there. Solid construction.

the FIRST thing I noticed when I opened the packaging was the god awful odor, it's so chemically, like something that will give you cancer within a couple of hours. there were tons of what seemed to be fiberglass fibers all over the comb so I washed it(also hoping to remove whatever the odor is)..and the smell got even stronger. I have tried applying various cleaning solutions, coatings and oils to try to stop the smell but nothing works, it just seems to get stronger and stronger while giving me a migraine. the handle seems to be made of actual wood(i've done some dissecting because it's not worth the hassle of sending it back), and the comb teeth seem to be made from some sort of brittle plastic that off-gases like crazy.

Beautifully crafted and the handle is just right. The cow horn comb's had a fishy odor when it met the water and I was shocked by the smell at first. But then I googled it and found that it's normal for real cow horn combs to have a smell, it's just that the seller should have stated it in advance so as not to cause any misunderstanding that it's the smell of chemicals.

Very comfortable to hold and use. Well made, good quality. Value for money!
