Great workmanship

I have been slowly replacing my stainless steel cooking utensils with wood and silicone to make my non-stick ceramic pots and pans last longer. I was looking for a whisk that was strong enough to work well with making béchamel and other sauces, and some of the whisks are just flimsy. This one has the strength of steel with the gentleness of silicone - absolutely the perfect solution to protect my pots without scratching!

A nice set of whisks. I use the smallest one the most. They are beefy and can handle a large bowl of whatever you need to whisk or stir but I mainly use it in a one quart saucepan. If I could change one thing about them I think it would be to give them a slightly narrower/slimmer profile. I think I may need to get some hooks and hang them as they take up more space in my small kitchen drawers than I like. Picture shows the whisks with my standard whisk for comparison. That said, they work well, are well put together and the beefy design makes them easy to clean. Edit 2022. The smallest whisk has developed a problem with the silicone coating splitting/ wearing away at the end making it unusable with non-stick surfaces anymore.

Only recently did I realize that we don't have a selection of whisks. We had 1 that was really large and 1 that looks like it belonged in a dollhouse. On top of that, they are metal and some things that I like to cook required whisking in the saucepan. I do not want to tear up our good pans so I started using a really old pan that I don't even know why we kept. I do not like cooking with it compared to the good set so it was time to buy some new whisks. This set comes with 3 different sized whisks, which is why I picked it out. They also have a lifetime warranty. I needed a small whisk for some of my DIY body care recipes so that one was set aside for that and the other 2 are perfect for cooking with. The tines are metal covered in silicone giving them the durability and strength of metal but the safety to your cookware as silicone. The tines go into a metal handle. Each tine goes into a little hole at the base. The handle has a hoop at the end so that they can be hung up or, since they are metal, they can be attached to a magnetic bar. In my house, they go in a drawer. The tines feel really strong and take a lot for me to get them to bend. The smaller one is harder to bend than the larger one. They work really well to fluff up my eggs and sauces. I can finally use my good cookware when I know I need to whisk something. I am happy with these.

I am happy to have discovered what so many cooking enthusiasts already discovered. Silicone cooking tools are a MUST for every pro & amateur chef. I added this non-reactive whisk to my silicone kitchen tool bag for certain cooking (mainly confections) and I have been pleasantly surprised. As with all silicone cooking implements, it can handle high heat no problem and is wonderfully easy to clean.

Comparatively, with what other vendors were offering for similar things on Amazon, this set of three was a good deal. Quality is decent. I use it to mix both cold and in the hot pot while its on the stove with no problems. Wash it dishwasher, no problems.
