Thick and durable
This is some heavy duty weather strip. Replaced some 5+yr old foam strip that had mostly come off the garage door. This is definitely a lot more durable and I'm sure it'll last longer, although I did have some issues with it sticking on one side. You need to make sure the frame you're applying it to is COMPLETELY clean. Any residue left on it, rough wood, etc, will prevent this from sticking so well. I had to scrape mine thoroughly with a razor to get all the foam adhesive/residue off first. The only issue I have with this is it doesn't compress as well as I'd like. It's obviously meant to fill larger gaps, they probably could've had the same effect with thinner rubber and a larger center hole, which would've let this compress more. The largest part of my gap is on the side where my door handle is, in fact it's so large at one point that I can still feel a slight chill breeze through an air gap between this and my door probably 1/16th an inch big. However, this compresses so poorly that I can barely shut and latch my door on that side. I have electric locks that used to be able to lock themselves, just as if i shut the door i can with one hand lock the door. With this I have to pull/push with a fair amount of my body weight - just to get the latch to engage. The top of the door I went with some foam weather strip because it compresses down to nothing and works almost as well (tried this initially and did not work well). To be honest this was a quick fix for a large issue we had in the middle of the winter with one of our doors. This spring I intend to rip off the door jam piece of wood (looks like the doors been busted in before, I couldn't get that piece of wood off without breaking - which is why I went this route) and cut a new piece of wood thats straight and fits up against the door a lot more snugly. Will probably still apply some foam strip after that, but it probably wont be necessary if it fits well. To be honest if you have a large enough gap you're considering this or the thicker version - you might want to consider fixing the door frame/jam to make it more snug against your door to begin with. Another decent use for this is windows. The latching problem isn't as bad on a window I've found. I have fairly new windows a few had their stock weather seal on the bottom coming off. This worked great in the center channel on the bottom and really helped seal them up well. I might consider purchasing more of these to replace on all of my windows.

Best Weatherstrip available!
First off, I need to mention this splits into two separate ribs of weatherstrip each being 3/8" wide. No tools necessary to split it, simple and easy. Secondarily, this is my favorite weatherstrip as it works so well in many applications. I ordered 3 different kinds of Frost King weatherstrip, and this one worked best to seal around doors since it has a large hollow void and can be compressed more or less depending on how much room is around the door (you'd be surprised at how uneven it can be). This makes installation a breeze. Door seals so tight now, no bugs, cold or heat can go in or out now. We live overseas in Australia, swamp coolers are the main cooling for a house and the air used to scream past the door (literally screeching from the airflow) during the day, and bugs would crawl in at night. Now with this installed, even with all the doors and windows shut, no air comes past the door. The house stays insulated from the outdoors and no bugs! Thanks Frost King!

Igloo Overland 25 quart
After reading reviews from people using this seal for their coolers, I bought it to try it. The 5/16” width fits into the channel on the lid of my Igloo Overland perfectly. The 1/4” Height did not seem to be tall enough. I doubled up the seal in the channel and it provided a good seal; providing slight resistance when closing the lid but not making it difficult to close. I used alcohol to clean the cooler channel and let dry. I’ve read a couple reviews that the adhesive was not tacky enough. Definitely not the case with my order. The adhesive was very tacky and at times annoyingly sticky as it sticks fast and to everything. Overall, the seal shipped fast, was a good value, and works great to seal up a cooler.

perfect gap fit
These D-Section Rubber Self-Stick Weatherseal Tape, fit perfectly between the gap of the window sill and the screen, at the bottom OR the top. Keeps those little pesky gnats, etc., getting into the house when the weather is nice and I can open the windows. They stick well and long. What I mean is, the first time I used this was five years ago and I was replacing them because they were getting a little brittle looking. I had to use a scraper to remove the old weather strip. It was still holding firm. Good brand and product and cost.

Great.....but
I love the Frost King V23WA Ribbed Rubber Self-Stick Weatherseal Tape and have used it for years. The spongy material and ribbed design make it nice and squishy to fit in the narrowest gaps for a great seal. I wish that Frost King would improve the adhesiveness of the double-stick backing as it just does not hold well enough. Additionally, the paper backing sticks too well making it very difficult to remove. So please greatly improve the adhesive on this product to make it five stars!

I have no idea how this product will perform as I have only just received it in the mail. However, the softness is excellent and should seal properly. The colour is good and will blend in with the white door frames the seal will be used on.

Saw first on YouTube. Great inexpensive solution to stop water seeping in the doors of the wife’s Wrangler. 3M tape works well & looks like it belongs there as a proper door sealer.

Lo utilice para sellar mejor mi tapa de cisterna, y como ya lleva más de un año teniéndolo a sido de buena calidad, dada la humedad que tiene la tapa y que sella bastante bien el paso de otros líquidos o basura

I had a very old balcony door. Some parts still had the old isolation material. It fits perfectly to anywhere. You can use it in its double form. you can cut it in half and use only one line. You can stick the lines on top of to isolate the larger gaps between door and the frame. This product made my winter warm. Recommend it to everyone.
