LEGO Friends Dolphin Cruiser

This is one awesome Lego set that I highly recommend for a boy or a girl of the ages targeted with this kit (and I don't give all Lego's 5 stars... see my review earlier today of the tiny empire state building .. but I digress...) This set has 612 pieces, instructions spanning two books, and my 9 1/2 year old sat there for over three hours straight building it on Christmas morning. Not only did she enjoy the building process (which was a bit challenging, but not overly so), she is having a ton of fun playing with it now that its built, given that its such a big ship with so many extras. This is probably the most detailed, fun and largest Lego set for the money that I have ever purchased over many years. The kicker is that we spent Thanksgiving at Sea World and Discovery Cove, so the dolphin theme fit perfectly.

- LEGO brand really delivers when you buy their product - Incredible detail go into every LEGO and this is no different. - best part of LEGO sets today is they come with very easy to follow direction. Each bag is numbered, and matches the instruction booklet, so you build one section or item at a time, then move onto the next bag. The days of having a pile of 600-700 pieces and having to find each one are no more. This is a great system. - The final product looked great, and was tons of fun to build. Took about 3-4 hours to build, but taking our time. - Good Amazon price, Prime shipping and gift wrap option made it even easier! - This is a Lego Friends series, so if you know someone who is into this LEGO, then you have many more options out there along the same product series!

This was a present for my 7 year old, and she loved it. She needed minimal help to put it together, but she is the ultimate master when it comes to putting Legos together. It is a cute Lego project of moderate size and has quite a few pieces. Probably not for a novice Lego person, but definitely would make someone happy who likes boats and dolphins. The only reason why I give if 4 stars is strictly a personal reason. I am NOT a fan of Lego. I do not particular care for Lego because they come apart. I constantly am sweeping up Legos into the vacuum, my girls get upset when a Lego piece falls off one of their "masterpieces" and frankly I just think they are a pain. What is the point of taking all that time to put something together that 9X out of 10 you are just going to pull apart anyway? My oldest daughter had the Lego Friends House and cried for a week when a piece fell off the roof. Ugh!!

Helping my nieces put this together was a project. It kept them occupied for two days. It does have a lot of small pieces and if you're not organized it can become frustrating. They do have a step by step book which is a huge asset. This toy is actually a lesson in Six Sigma project planning for kids LOL My suggestion...have a "Lego Friends Dolphin Cruiser" assembly party...order some pizza and let them at it. :) All of that being said, my nieces loved it once it was all put together.

My 8 year old daughter received this as a Christmas present. For the most part she was able to follow the instructions and put it together (with a little help from her older sister). LEGO Friends products are not new to our household and this is probably one of my daughter's favorites. We have purchased many LEGO products over the years and the quality has always been excellent. The LEGO Friends collection is no different and my daughters love all of their LEGO Friends collections, from small ones to large ones!

Made a very special 7yrs kid happy for christmas with this amazing lego friend cruiser, with minimal assistance she mastered it perfectly attaching all the delicate pieces, and made a beautiful home for her lego friends. I search long and hard and found an amazing booklet LEGO IDEAS which provided additional instructions to build other fun stuff with the extra pieces it came with. I invite all other parents to look into developing their kids brain with my suggestion. Happy I was able to add to the smiles on her face.

This is a fun Lego set that my 9 year old daughter has enjoyed playing with. Of course, she wanted to put it in the tub right away, so that was a bit disappointing for her. She did need lots of help from her big brother and cousin to construct it.

Got this set twice from Amazon. Was putting this together with my daughter. The first set we received had 2 #4 bags and was missing the #3 bag. What a disappointment! The second set we got was missing the #2 bag. This was horrible! Went to Toys'R'Us and bought the same thing and it was fine. Not sure what is going on with the Amazon sets of this Cruise Ship. Are they selling returns? Or some defect sets or just bad Lego quality control? My kid was disappointed twice with this set. Don't know why the Toys'R'Us set was fine the first time. Maybe luck of the draw or maybe was made from a different production run. Just can't figure out why the Amazon bought sets were both defective.

Wir haben das Lego für unsere Tochter 6J (mit sehr gutem räumliches Vorstellungsvermögen) gekauft, der Aufbau hat Ihr sehr viel Spaß gemacht und war in ca. 4 Stunden (bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten von Ihr alleine) erledigt. Seither spielt sie fast täglich damit und es scheint keine Langeweile einzutreten. Die Yacht mach einen optisch schönen Eindruck, der obere Teil lässt sich abheben sodass man im Rumpf des Schiffes mit den Figuren spielen kann. Das Schiff ist zusammengebaut sehr stabil und verzeiht es auch wenn es mal von mittlerer höhe "abstürzt". Über Qualität, Preis/Leistung etc. muss man hier nicht diskutieren, Qualität ist wie immer bei Lego sehr gut, was sich aber auch im Preis widerspiegelt. Es freut mich (und natürlich auch Lego :-)) das es seit einigen Jahren die Friends Serie gibt, damit gibt es nun auch für unsere Tochter die bis dahin meist Buben vorbehaltenen Legowelten.

non mi ritrovo molto ultimamente con i prodotti Lego che di Lego hanno poco o nulla, già parzialmente o completamente montati e che della Lego originale, quella della nostra gioventù hanno solo il LOGO, bene questo prodotto invece è un VERO Lego, da montare, come una volta, con il quale giocare, come si faceva una volta, mia figlia di 7 anni l'ha montato tutto da sola ed è così gelosa che ha voluto che lo mettessi sulla tavola più alta della libreria, così che niente e nessuno possa rovinarlo e quando ci gioca lo fa con grande attenzione, come una cosa davvero preziosa. Compratelo, molto molto carino e ricchissimo di accessori, ma non di quelli che si perdono si sicuro, fatti bene che vanno al posto giusto.

娘の6歳のお誕生日のプレゼントに購入しました。娘のリクエストだけあって、とっても喜んで、一人で作り上げ毎日遊んでいます。クルーザーの中はすぐに開けて遊べるのでいいみたいです。 細部まで凝っていて可愛いです。

This is a top-notch value packing box of lego. Some good prices sub £40 if you can get it at that then laughing for a real good lego build. Not a fan of the Lego Friend figures, but this was for my 7yr-old daughter and she loved putting this together and playing with it. Solidly built, its just all the small accessories that are a pain to look out for when doing the hoovering! The beauty is being able to take the top half of the boat off to play with the inside. Have not tested if this sinks or swims, but the figures do not come with life-vest so there is some health and safety issues that Lego want to be addressing there. Also this is a dolphin friendly product as a couple of them are also provided.
