Work great
I have been wearing the original pancake brand for 15 years love the fit and weight of these welding hoods take your time to sand them out properly and you will love them too

A Unique Welding Hood.
Unless you are familiar with pancake style hoods, these may seem a little odd. The pancake style hood eliminates light from entering from behind when welding outdoors or at night when work lights are present and creating annoying glare. That helps the weldor to see his work more clearly. The design also mitigates smoke from building up inside the hood, protecting the weldor from potentially harmful fumes from burning scale, paint, or corrosion protection on the pipe (or structure). This Original Pancake brand hood is more flexible and less likely to break than the other brands that use balsa gusset pieces to secure the ear guard. Cons: 1> changing out the eyebox on this brand is hard if not impossible so if it does get broken its probably easier to send back for repair by the manufacturer. 2> only available in yellow or black. I got the yellow and painted it. It would be nice to see Original Pancake hoods come in white, red, grey, blue, camo, green. IMHO.

Can’t use with glasses
The goggles aren’t wide enough to fit glasses, went to their website, they have pancakes wide enough for glasses, I have been able to make most pancakes work for me, even with the glasses except this one.

Damn good hood
It’s a pretty good hood the color wasn’t my kinda color but I grew to love it fits pretty good didn’t have to sand it really at all gets the job done for sure

Decent helmet, decent price , in decent time.
It’s what I wanted, works like it should and arrived before expected delivery date. Not much more I can say about a pancake hood. Ram welding gives you a sticker too. Which is cool.

As expected
I like these better than the competition they seem to protect me better than other ones I’ve used .. I weld on pipeline for a living so it gets used a lot

Good pancake
Haven't had any complaints from the hubby, so i guess its a good product. But if you have a big head you will have to do some modifying.

NOT AS PICTURED
It does not come with the flip up lens that is in the ad picture. Disappointing.
