Well made, cute, toddler approved
I bought this backpack for my 2.5 year old son who love giraffes. He LOVES it. He stores his crayons in the front pocket and a coloring book/snacks/toys in the main pocket. It's a well made backpack. It stands up on its own when you set it down on the ground, which is nice. I hate when bags flop over. My son can easily open and close it with the toddler friendly large zipper pulls. It helps him feel like a big boy to carry around his own stuff and not have to ask me for everything. It also makes my bag a tad less full so it's a win-win.

Cute, durable product
This is a super cute backpack! I love all the animals that the backpack comes in, especially the zebra, raccoon, penguin, bee, and giraffe. I generally try to keep things gender-neutral for my son... I can't stand all the footballs, baseballs, dinosaurs, cars, trucks, and airplanes that are plastered all over boys' products. There is a great selection of gender-neutral backpacks in this line, and they're all adorable. We ended up going with the giraffe, since both my husband and I liked it. Our son is too young (22 months) to have a preference in the animal character we bought, but he still loves this backpack. It's a little big for him in that when he carries it on his back it's almost as big as he is, but he still loves it and we keep it light enough to where it doesn't topple him over. It's been great for carrying stuff to daycare during the week and even when we go out on the weekend. It hasn't replaced his diaper bag, but he keeps a couple of toys/books in there that he wants. Overall, this is a product that I would recommend. It appears to be durable, although I should have thought about the light color of the giraffe print. The light cream color has already gotten dirty, but it seems like the material is easy enough to wipe clean.

ADULT Lunch Bag - Totally Cute and WELL MADE! NOTE: SQUISHABLE FANS Check this out!
1. CUTE! 2. WELL MADE 3. Add an additional Thermal bag inside main compartment for extra cold area if using as lunch box for an adult. This giraffe backpack is totally cute and so well made. We use it as a lunchbox for an adult (who says you have to grow up* and using a boring square non-descript lunch bag/box?!?!.) The only problem we had was PICKING one out! There are just soooo many adorable designs! We bought a small "Thermal Cooler Insulated" bag to go in the main compartment, as the front (mouth) section is a bit small if you have a lot of cold items (sandwich, yogurt, juice box, & fruit). * As SQUISHABLE stuffed animals attest to, Adults these days want some "CUTE" and FUN in their lives! These backpacks are totally what SQUISHABLE FANS would love to share lunch with everyday at work!

Adorable!
I love these bags! I bought two , the giraffe and the dog to use as a diaper bag for my one year old son. The design is fun , my son loves the bright colors.the giraffe in particular .its too small for a school age child but still big enough to fit an 10inch iPad with a gumdrop case, a couple diapers , change of clothes , a changing pad and some snacks. The drink holder is big enough for a full size bottle. I carry the giraffe design everywhere and it actually doesn't show dirt too easily. When needed I just toss it into the wash, and lay it out to dry as recommended and it is good as new.

Great!
Such a cute backpack! We purchased the giraffe and the owl for our 2 and 3 year olds. The pack is a little on the large side for a 2 year old, but perfect for our 3 year old (and would probably be a good size for a child up to 5 or 6ish). This would not likely be a good choice for school books, folders, etc as I don't even think a folder would fit in there! But for toting around stuffed animals, toys and board books, etc this is a great option. Very good quality - I thoroughly inspected both packs due to some of the quality concerns from other reviewers...I see no issues nor potential issues. The packs appear to be great quality.

Cute, functional for small ones.
The Skip Hop backpacks are incredibly cute, and have such a variety to choose from. They have one cup holder, which I would not do without, and one small pocket, besides for the main compartment. These are not school-sized backpacks. My toddlers each have one. I first use them for a diaper bag. Much better size for me than those ginormous whopper bags that can hold an entire box of diapers. They fit a few dipes, wipes, an outift, cup, changing pad, baby food. No problem for a baby day bag. When they start walking well, VOILA, you have the option to strap the diaper bag onto your child. I have heard people use something similar for twins, to help out. After that (or alternating with using it as a diaper bag), they work for an overnight bag, a little bag for THEM to pack with their special things for trips, and whatever. Con: Once these are dingy, there isn't much turning back. I have surface-washed my son's, which helped some. I wish I could machine wash it.

Great diaper bag
We love our giraffe backpack. We use it for our almost 9 month old as a diaper bag. It's just big enough for an outfit, bottle, several diapers, a pack of wipes, nursing cover, and a couple burp cloths. The front compartment is big enough for a couple bibs, a few small toys (baby keys, teething ring...), and baby medicine. I was worried about it being too small for all of our baby needs, but it is perfect! We recently ordered the raccoon and should have it in a couple of days. This bag is very well made and have had not issues with durability in the time that we have owned it; about one month.

Knock-off version
My 1st disappointing purchase on Amazon. I was so excited to get this today for my toddler to take to daycare. I received a knock off version of this bag and it has a terrible plastic/chemical smell that has spread through the house. I can't even understand how this can happen when the description clearly stares Skip Hop and not something else. Will be returning.
