Can it be left in the hair. Why does the label say to rinse out?

Depending on your hair texture(3c and type 4 will have no problem leaving this on). Marketing is done toward Caucasian/whites with straight hair so for them they would have to rinse it out because shea oil will be too heavy for their strands. So the label says to rinse out because it’s marketed to a certain group of people. Do what works for you!

Can I use this to make wipped body cream or chapstick?

Yes. I make cream for rashes and dry skin. It's an awesome product.

Is this safe to use for your face?

Yes , I mix with a bit of Argan oil in a small serum bottle and use it sparingly on my face, it instantly soothes and protects my skin and doesn’t cause any breakouts or congestion at all!!!
