One of my best purchases
I honestly think it's the best way to brew coffee. I've been using mine for about 3 years. Brewed countless cups at home, and it's been with me all round the world! Just chuck this in your bag and you have yourself a way to make good coffee. Durable and easy to clean, mine finally broke after years mostly because of my rough use. Fits every cone brewer I've tried, but honestly works without one as well, just on top of a large mug.

Wow! It actually works great.
I was hesitant on purchasing this reusable filter as most of them say they keep out coffee grounds, but I usually end up with some in the bottom of the pot. This one is not the case. I was first able to use it this week and the first pour over came out with no grounds. I assumed that maybe I missed them and the were in the bottom. So I used it again the next day and same result. Third time, same result. Final conclusion, this is great quality, engineered to do what it says it will, and keeps the grounds out without slowing down the brew speed.

Smoothest/cleanest cup of coffee
TL;DR: It filters "sludge", trade off is speed. One week of use so far. My set up is a burr grinder, kettle with a goose neck spout, and the $18 pour over carafe featured when you search "4 cup coffee pour over". The filter that came with the carafe is cheap and left grain and powdered coffee into the brew. I changed the grind size for larger and smaller to see if it would get better and nothing. A little research brought me to this filter. It's slower (takes about 2~3 minutes for 4 cups), but filters clean and smooth coffee. I'm currently working through a cheap bag of beans and it tastes better than most coffee shops. Can't wait to see what it does with quality coffee beans and if it slows down more after a few weeks of use.

Small amount of sediment passes through
Does allow a very small amount of sediment to pass through the filter. Otherwise preforms well and coffee tastes fine. Easy to clean and well made

Too Easily Clogged
Really want to love this. It is very well made. But it gets clogged too easily. I tried pretty rough grinds (via burr grinder settings) and it still struggled. Even swirling the grounds doesn't help. I tried it for months hoping I could make it work but switched back to paper filters.

best investment ever
As my hubby who is a frequent coffee drinker and I an organic freak, this copper drip coffee mechanism is perfect for both! It is environmentally friendly, great design, the brew speed is slow and steady without sacrificing the taste, incredibly resusable and the fit and seal fit perfect!

Bought to go with my Bodum pour over coffee pot and this was so worth it. The metal filter that came with it was rubbish and left grit in my coffee even on a course grind, this on the other hand is amazing and I even tested how fine I could grind the beans and still have a grit free coffee and was very happy with the results. Best purchase I have made for a while.

Contrary to some others’ reviews, I find this filter very easy to keep clean. I always rinse it out immediately after the coffee is brewed, before I sit down to drink it. I have never encountered any grounds stuck in the filter after running hot water through and sometimes, not always, using a brush. The filter drips through much faster than when I used Hario V60 papers, which take for ever. My coffee is brewed quickly so good and hot, and with excellent flavour. 5 stars to this lroduct

Way too expensive, but I love it. Coffee is great, might cog up depending on the coffee origin and freshness.
