My dog loves this food. The small size is perfect for her.

My dog likes this food and is excited when it's time to eat. I mean he also eats deer poop, but he definitely likes this dog food. I have also tried the lamb and chicken and this one is definitely his favorite. I go by the fact that there are time he won't eat the other foods and just gives me this dejected look. Like, not this again. The food is packaged in some pretty sturdy plastic, you'll need a knife to cut it open. I figure the packaging keeps the food pretty well preserved. No good built in way to reseal the bag, it would be a nice touch to have a way to empty the food without cutting the bag open, maybe a nice twist off cap on the side of the bag. From all the things I've read on the internet, this food is of good quality. It's a brand that consistently ranks well and is reasonably priced when compared to similar quality dog foods. I went to a dog food site that shows the nutrient break down and it looks decent. Not all filler. The dog's in generally good health, nice coat and skin. He's a small dog so mostly inside.

Flavor??? Ah okay sure let me try the dog food. Nope didn't happen so it gets 3 stars because didn't sample it my self. But, over all my 4 pound "tea cup" sized Pomeranian loves it. She can eat it easily and she has a very small mouth. If you are searching for a dog food that has very small kibble this is it. It's about the size of fish pellets for med to large sized fish. I also mix in wet food to help my nearly toothless Pom eat. I have also used the Lamb and rice in the past. My dog seems to enjoy both varieties. If your wondering just how small the pellets are they really are quiet small. So I have shared a picture so you can get an idea since there is no way to feel the size in the bag before purchase and the bag image does not show the pellet size well. The image is of one tablespoon. My little dog get 1/4cup for her weight.

Use it for a chihuahua and a min-pin. Both had allergies issues. Scratching, licking and shaking her head. This Canidae pure petite, is the only one that works for the past 5 years. No runs, coat shines, eyes never run and loves the food.

My dog likes this better than the previous variety - his normal food was out of stock.

My dog ate this food, but didn't really care for it; have switched to a Hills product that he likes much better.
