Tisserand Ethically Harvested Pure Essential Oil - Natural Essential Oils for Diffusers for Home - Vegan and Cruelty Free - May Chang - 0.68 oz

This is one of the best brands of essential oils I'm aware of and it is, in my opinion, worth every penny to get a "pure" essential oil for therapeutic uses. I'm using this one to treat a skin condition on our white lab (DILUTED ONLY) and it's helping calm her skin quite a bit after a severe allergic reaction to some shedding shampoo at the groomers'. Lavender is a powerful essential oil, useful for cleaning applications, allergy treatments, air freshening, inhalation/aromatherapy, and even laundry use. HOWEVER, it is vitally important that you educate yourself on the proper use of all essential oils. Virtually all of them MUST be diluted before use, either in a "carrier oil" (like grapeseed, avocado, jojoba, etc.) or in water to avoid burning the skin or mucous membranes. Amazon has a wealth of available books that can teach you more. One of my favorites is this one: The Practice of Aromatherapy: A Classic Compendium of Plant Medicines and Their Healing Properties . This is an excellent 100% essential oil from a reputable company (Tisserand) and their product offerings are quite expansive. You can find sandalwood, myrrh, frankinsence, bergamot, and more. Robert Tisserand is a leader in the Renaissance of Essential Oils. His company's oils are highest quality. May Chang has a lemony mood lifting scent that freshens the home and is not synthetic so makes the body happy. Use in a diffuser and enjoy the calm and relaxing feel of a lazy afternoon near a garden. Drops are all that are necessary...you can pair with Ultrasonic diffuser on Amazon and have years of enjoyment. This is a favorite of our family...try it and see!

I love this oil and this brand. I've bought some of the more expensive brands and I really prefer this one. The Sweet Dreams oil is also wonderful. I rub some on my pillow at night. LOVE IT!! I diffuse the lavender in my house as well as in my photography studio so it smells nice and helps relax clients. Really great brand. Wish I had discovered it before I spent money on the more commercialized expensive brands.

I'd never had smelled it before so have no comparison point. It smells very much like lemongrass to me. The package was not in good shape - the bottle's box was ripped. Crushed from the travel makes sense, ripped? Not cool - what if I had wanted to gift this? Likely I didn't so I will use it.

Cedarwood is the best Essential oil! I was a little worried since it was coming from the UK but it arrived here in the states pretty quick considering the distance and it was well packaged so there was no dmanage! I would definitely buy this product again!

Great product . Use a few drops in a bowl of hot water and inhale. Delivered on time and arrived as expected.

This smelled heavenly when I opened it. I applied a small drop to my wrist, and 25 minutes later I could barely detect a scent. So disappointing because it is such a beautiful scent right out of the bottle. I’ll order elsewhere next time. Update: added this divine scent to other oils hoping to prolong the scent, but the May Change faded just as quickly. 30 minutes later, could not even detect the scent. Its a very citrusy scent and fades just as quickly. So disappointing.

I studied aromatherapy using essential oils about 20 years ago. I make my own deodorant, perfumes, body oils and face creams using only pure essential oils. Essential oils are derived from plants. Their fragrance, “essence of the oil”, is extracted usually distilled by using steam, but there are other methods including cold pressing. As you can imagine over the 20 years I have tried various essential oils and I have found that Tisserand oils are of compromising quality. The fragrance from their oils is natural and fresh. There have been some I have tried from other companies where the scent has smelt inferior or artificial, not pleasing at all. I am very careful when purchasing products, I always Investigate a company and research their ethos before I can feel comfortable buying from them. I could never be happy using a product if it has been tested on animals, including its ingredients. I couldn’t enjoy the benefits of my aromatherapy skills knowing that the oils I am using have been cruelly tested on a defenceless animal. Not only does this cause unnecessary suffering to a living creature, but it is also bad karma. YLANG-YLANG - this scent, to me, is like opening a bottle which contains various sweet-smelling flowers with a hint of sweet bubble-gum. I am probably not giving this sent much justice. It is a lovely, very floral scent, but not a sickly sweet one. Apparently, ylang-ylang is an ingredient in the perfume Chanel No.5. Ylang-ylang works well for de-stressing, anxiety or depression. Add a few drops into an aromatherapy oil burner to help calm moods or to feel relaxed. Or, mix with a carrier oil, such as jojoba, apricot, coconut, Olive oil, or sweet almond oil. There are many to choose from, whichever one most suits your skin. To stay on the safe side create a mixture that is 1% essential oil and 99% carrier oil when using on the skin. if using Ylang-ylang for calmness, also add lavender oil = 1% + 1% + 98% MAY CHANG - has a fresh sweet lemon scent which reminds me of lemon sherbet sweets due to its fizzy note. There are a few essential oils, such as lemongrass but this has a harsh tone, which is why I prefer May Chang this is the number one floral lemon scent for me. It isn’t sharp, it is floral, light and uplifting like a fresh summer's day in a Lemon orchard. May Chang works well for relieving fatigue as it is energising. This is not suitable for sensitive skins especially if suffering from eczema. Add a few drops to an aromatherapy oil burner to lift a headache or to boost one’s energy. Pregnant/breastfeeding women, children, or people with a medical/skin condition should always use essential oils with caution. Check first with a qualified practitioner before using any essential oil. Although these are plant-based, they could potentially be hazardous to one’s health or to an unborn child. Avevo acquistato precedentemente un olio essenziale per diffusore all'arancia dolce e mandarino della collezione invernale e vista la qualità ho voluto acquistare anche l'olio essenziale di lavanda: è eccellente! Essendo un olio essenziale, ne bastano veramente poche gocce. Il profumo è avvolgente, intenso ma delicato allo stesso tempo, non è in alcun modo fastidioso e infatti già dalla fragranza si può sentire che è stato formulato con materie prime organiche di alta qualità. Gli effetti benefici della lavanda sono quelli desiderati, come da descrizione sul sito ufficiale di Tisserand.
