Penyeah Lighted Tip Technical Pens with LED Light for Writing in The Dark, Replacement Refills Included, 2-Pack (Red Light)

I got these pens for writing at night and after using them a few times, I really like them. I was worried the ink and ball point would not be very smooth, since often products will be of less quality in one feature to have the other quality, such as lights in this case. I've had some pretty crappy ball point pens before that bleed and write terribly. These are not like that. The writing is smooth, the ink flow is not too much or too little, and it's easy to write with. I am surprised how nice they are to write with and I love that about them. The lights are also great. The blue one can be a little too bright when I'm tired, so the red is much softer and nicer. However, on other days the blue light is fine. Also, it doesn't actually look blue, it's just referring to the warmth factor of the light. It's a cool light vs. a yellow warm light like the red. Some people are saying that the clicking sound the pen makes is too loud. I don't find the sound any louder than a regular clicking pen. I've heard louder clicking pens than this. The only minor issue was a battery was corroded in one of the pens. I replaced it with a backup and it works fine. Both pens work great. I contacted customer service and they're going to send me another battery since I already had to get into the backup packs. They are very quick to respond, polite and friendly. To be honest, I know these kinds of products can have these kinds of issues, it's just the nature of this kind of stuff, and that's the main reason I bought these pens vs. others. Because other reviewers said how amazing the customer service is. Life isn't perfect, but when people are nice and accountable, that means everything to me. So if you have similar values, this company is great. And the pens are too.

Great pens for older people , great for people that write a lot outside, in the truck or car.

Good pen, Decent light

I like the pen, it has a good feel in the hand and the light is a nice addition when taking notes in a darkened briefing. The pen when it writes is smooth and consistent. However I am finding that it will stop randomly and I will have to scribble on a piece of scratch paper to get it to start again. Not sure if this is a flaw in the ink, or something with my notebook. But since my other pens have not been experiencing this, I am going to go with the ink cartridge. I did notice that they do not have that little protector over the tip like most pens seem to have so perhaps the cartridge is just faulty. But the replacement cartridges that come with the pens don't have them either. I really like the pens so I will probably see if i can get a cartridge from some other source to fit it.

These worked very well, and keep the light on the page where you are writing, not in your face.

I keep a note pad next to my bed to jot down reminders or ideas that would keep me up when I awaken in the middle of the night. This pen fits that job perfectly. I tried the Syn Pen also on Amazon, but it was far too bright for this job. Penyeah is just right. Writes well and keeps me from having to turn on a light.

Excellent pens, when they work :-/. The more popular these have become, the more the quality has begun to decline. I've been using these pens for appx. 6yrs now. If there were no issue with the pen from the start, I'd rate their quality 5 stars! However, there have been at least on two occasions that I have purchased the 5pck and one or two would not work (very low light; non-funtional) or would stop working within the same week I received them.

Penyeah Pen with Light, Pen Light Flashlight, Lighted Tip Pen Light, 2pack - Red - These are fantastic pens for writing at night. I have only used them a couple of nights, but they write nicely and are bright. I am going to add some opaque tape at the tip to tone down the brightness at night like other reviewers have mentioned. They came with two extra batteries and four extra ink refills in a resealable plastic bag to keep air out. The ink refills do not seem very large, and I am not sure how long the ink will last, so I am happy that they included extra ink refills.
