Best. Number one. Ever.
As I re-read this comic again, I am still impressed with what a great team produced it. Lee and Ditko started an incredible series that has never, in my opinion, been matched.

amazing issue 1
This isn’t the issue that launched Spider-Man. I do think this is a better issue than amazing fantasy 15. The story progresses more and we have more character development that makes the hero more relatable. I like that this issue explores the thought of what would happen if someone impersonates a hero who is never unmasked. How does the hero defend himself without compromising his true identity? It’s a good story. The art is good for its time. Wish I could afford to own a physical copy.

A great read, I love the classic Spider-man comics. The kindle edition is an added plus.

As the first issue of The Amazing Spider-Man, I did not expect it would be about Spider-Man flying a jet and riding a rocket. Very fun, I can't wait to read more.
