This type required for my truck.
I ordered from this seller because this type was required for my truck. This is expensive but less cost than local auto parts sellers it for. Only needed 3 1/2 quarts but buying the gallon was still cheaper. It seems to be working fine as limited slip is working correctly. I can't complain except for cost.

Excellent Quality
I highly recommend this oil for working differentials in a vehicle that does a lot of towing and/or hauling. I use it in both front and rear differential in my 1997 Jeep XJ. This is because my tiers are 35 inch and weigh 100 pounds each that equals to 400 pounds total for all 4 tiers. Even though I have 4.88 ring gears in front and back, the Jeep is always hauling a 400 pound load of just tiers every time I’m on the road or trial. Most people do not account for the weight of the tiers as being a load especially with oversized tiers. The Jeep’s max load capacity is a 750 pound hauling limit and that leaves me just 350 pounds that could be added on before breaking something.

Smooth Shifting for my Brute 300 Transmission Rebuild!
I just finished a full transmission rebuild on my Kawasaki Brute Force 300, and this Triax 80W-90 was the perfect choice for the break-in. The gear engagement feels incredibly smooth, and I haven't noticed any of the 'clunking' I sometimes got with cheaper oils. It’s GL-5 rated and already contains the Limited Slip additives, so there's no need to mess with extra bottles. It gives me a lot of confidence knowing the hypoid gears are well-protected.
