It's a great value - especially from the vendor who shipped and sold it - which for us is part of the "product". I had no issues with Spreading it with my standard Scott's broadcast spreader and at apx 4.5 use the 50lb in about that stated area. Each spreader may be different. So, 4 - 5, up to you and per you soil. While spreading it, looked like nothing, so to speak was leaving the spreader, but it was! Jams? Not any more than any other I've used. I'd tap/tug the cable and free up a slowing spread, so to speak but no issues like I read to expect. It's as dry a contents as one may get - appearing as stored well I an only guess since worked as expected in the spreader. The bag explains all well - if care to engage to that level. I had "moss" - I know I am "acidic". At that point in spots, one would have to manually mix it in - spreading in those small patches will not be effective, or less so. There are DIY home tests one can do to test if "acidic" - how much? Well, you'd need to test it again in a few months then anyway. I know my yard - one bag will do some good, three would be fantastic, but how much more fantastic? I'm not sending off to a lab to find out. So, I hope that helped someone.

One month in so far and already noticing how much less work to green healthy plants this is providing. Good stuff!

I used this last and am using it again this year. I have a small orchard. I submitted a soil test to my extension (last year) and they told me that both my Magnesium and pH were low. They suggested adding Dolomitic limestone. I followed their suggestion last year and it made a noticeable difference. I'm hoping this year's application gets me into the optimal range.

Clogged up spreader

Clean bag and box! Very impressed with the product shipment. The quality of the product is great too as it's not as dusty as typical lime powder.

I will add this product again in Spring 2025 with pre-emergence product. This product with a fall fertilizer in mid September 2024, my grass look greener than my neighbors till mid December 2024 with the same fertilizer company. I will update this product again some time July 2025. Seeing this product results made me not to hire my fertilizer company since I own all machinery to do it my self. I will update you with pre and post photos, it made me a believer.
