I bought this necklace for myself and my family because our last name starts with a W, and I wanted something simple but meaningful that we could all wear. Even after multiple wears, none of them have faded or tarnished — they still look just as good as when we got them. The chain is sturdy and the pendant feels solid despite the affordable price. Similar to other reviewers I bought this after thinking that a similar item from another retailer was too expensive for what it was. This is a good quality substantial pendant that has great detail and is made well. The chain it comes with is not great, again similar to other reviewers, I bought a different chain on Amazon. The reason I gave this four stars instead of five is because it is a bit too yellow to match my real gold jewelry. It’s not a dealbreaker but just be aware when layering chains. One tip I will give you is to use a chain you already have to measure the length you want, or use a piece of string around your neck to measure. The same size that fits on one person will not look the same on another based on body type.

As advertised, very good product

I got two of these for my partner and I. Well worth the buy. There have been no concerns of tarnish and we wear these all day everyday including in the shower. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. Very happy with my purchase :)

10/10. I get compliments at work every week at how "beautiful" and "shiny" it is. Price is unbeatable, no way someome could tell it's fake unless they physically looked at the lock.(and whose gonna do that LOL)

The necklace arrived today, it arrived on time as Amazon Prime promised, so I do appreciate that! So okay, let’s get down to the actual product review; there is a noticeable discoloration difference between the chain & the pendant. Okay so because everything is digital these days you can’t really see the difference in my photograph that I took [Due to the iPhone camera automatically enhancing the picture] but it is really noticeable in person. The chain is darker then the pendant. Its not defective, but just don’t expect [the chain] to look super bright like the pendant. YES the necklace & pendant are still wearable and gift-giving worthy; therefore I’m not going to return it. But if you’re looking for absolute perfection, then this is not the item for you. But the price point is acceptable especially if you’re going to gift this to a younger person. In my case, teenagers (a 7th & 8th grade student) I definitely would NOT give this to an adult or someone of a mature age. Like my Father or Grandfather. For them I’d purchase real solid 10kt or 14kt gold. But this is definitely worth the price for a teenager or younger person!! And I’m sure they’d really like it, since these gold chains are back in style again. Like they were back in the 80s. I have some real 18kt and 14kt gold chains and pendants that I bought in the 80s and I want to give those to my nephews, but first I want to see how they take care of this one, you know before I go and give them anything real & expensive!! Good price point and worth buying.

LOVE this product! The original chain and pendant sits right in-between my boobs, so when wearing a shirt it doesn't get seen. I switched the pendant to a different chain I had because it was slightly too long for my liking. The pendant I wear constantly in the shower, when sweating, and all night. Ive had it for a couple months now and it hasn't tarnished at all! It's still super gold and clean looking. Would highly recommend!

I really loved it but unfortunately it changed color

I didn’t expect much because it is cheap and the gold would tarnish. But the chain where it connects snapped. But the charm isn’t tarnished. So once I find a chain to replace the original one it’ll be fine

Let me start by saying, this nacklace does not tarnish. ive been wearing it in the shower, lol outside in the heat (sweating) and it hasnt tarnished or left any color on my neck. based on other reviewers, maybe in the past they were using a cheaper chain, but this chain hasnt given me any issues and the pendant still looks great. no color loss, still looks gold. its honestly my favorite and i wear it with almost everything
