The illustrations are clever and would engage the children. Many examples of how children can be helpful are provided and a spot card that could be copied and given to the children. You might want children to draw a small picture of how they were helpful to some one at school and at home each day and then share with others. Dots are often available at the Dollar Tree. After reading the book to the children, you could leave the book in a safe place where two children at a time could discuss it. Hopefully all the class will be involved in being kind to others now and for their lives.

I love this series, this is a great way to get some lessons in for my second graders. They have great pictures and the lesson is wonderful.

A manual about kindness but repetitive
Not the book for me but I think others who like the series would enjoy this one because of the message. Nice way to teach kids about being kind but too repetitive.

Cute little book for kids
My five year old son saw this book advertised and asked for it- the entire Spot series is great for kids to teach them about feelings, etc.

Love the little spot series
We’ve become quick fans of the little spot series. Reading the books has opened doors to conversations about emotions we wouldn’t have otherwise had. The sticker on the hand concept has really helped my son (and I) remember to be more patient and kind. Definitely recommend.

A Little Spot of Kindness Paperback
These books are wonderful for helping teach little ones about their emotions. A Little Spot of Kindness is also part of AR curriculum and students are able to use these for AR testing unlike some others from this series. We enjoy the books as they explain the emotion, how to recognize them, and how to express them properly.
