LG AN-MR19BA Magic Remote Control (2019 Model)

Great remote control. Definitely an upgrade from the remote that comes with the tv. I've been using now for many years & it still works great. Has a little wear & tear but that's to be expected from your fingers touching it constantly. But honestly as much as I use it it's not nearly as worn out as it should be. Which tells me it's high quality.

Item received fairly quick and intact. This is a 2019 Lg remote, my tv is a 2013 Lg. Yes this item works with an older tv. It can switch from antennae tv to firestick tv. [But, the tv doesn't recognize this remote as far as any extra services ie.. CBS, Starz. When I try to watch CBS & Starz on the old tv with the new remote, the tv says I am not authorized and kicks me out of Prime.] UPDATE; there is a pointer or mouse like portion on this remote not explained in the paper instructions. Upon loading on a new tv you are told to push the button above the prime button until the tv registers the remote, then the pointer or mouse appears and no more tv rejection! I tried unsuccessfully with a universal remote so this is the best I have found. Even with the silicone protective cover the pointer/mouse still works!

Model MR20, as described, is a reverse compatible replacement to my dog-chewed MR10. Yes, it is an authentic product that has the LG label near the bottom, where most generics look identical but no label. Instructions tell how to sync with the tv. Would recommend.

This remote sold by "Sourcing Remote" is defective and the wheel in the middle broke/ depressed into the case within couple of months of use. I have bought 1 unit on 09/21/2024, 02/04/2025 and 04/17/2025. When I ordered another one on 07/05/2025 at $24.74 (prime shipping), they cancelled my order today 07/14/2025. The OEM LG remote quality is horrible (my original LG remote lasted more than 4 years) and when I first bought in September 2024, the product page says there's a 12 month warranty and when I contact Sourcing Remote, they said it's not for the accessories products that they sell. The reason I kept buying from the same seller is because I wanted to make sure it's just a one-time issue, it could be just my luck of getting a lemon. But after having 3 remotes from the same seller breaking in couple of months each time, this is not just the remote quality issue.
