Best Basic Epilator fits in budget!
My experience: It's a good basic epilator, consisting of 20 rotating discs-able to pluck lots of hairs together. This is the reason for pain-which is bearable for me. The compact curvy model of BRE-235 is very good, appears modern, good for gripping. This model has no other accessories (other than a sensitive cap), which appeared to be a good option for me. The noise is common with every epilator….it's a bit loud. For me, I had to epilate after every 1 week for a month...slowly I had to epilate after every 1.5 week for another month & at present I'm epilating after every 2 weeks i.e. twice a month. So by this, we can conclude that with continuous epilation, hair regrowth reduces. So, in the long run it is possible that hair growth will reduce further with continuous epilation. Preps before epilating: Take a warm bath- this opens pores Exfoliate a day before (using a scrubbing brush or scrubs available in the market). During epilating: Hold the skin taut- a very important step Hold the epilator at 90° against the skin Glide it (like a razor, but slow-to allow hairs to be plucked). About the device: This device uproots the hairs from the skin (similar to waxing) but does not affect skin, since it only glides over it. Thus this device is better than waxing as it does not have any chance of scarring, or making skin sun sensitive. This device is a dry epilator and cannot be used during showers. The epilator removes hairs 0.5mm better than waxing- you've to grow hair and then go for waxing + can't remove tiny hairs, this lets you be ready anytime, anywhere. Advantages of this device: *Compact. *Travel friendly. *Corded- can be used immediately during emergencies (unplanned parties!). *Long chord. *Stubble free, totally! (Compared to shaving). *No expertise required, mess free, long lasting (compared to waxing). *Environmental friendly. *One time investment. Disadvantages of this device: *Ingrown hairs (prevented with regular exfoliation). *Red patches-resolves within a few hours. *Pain-but bearable. *Metal tweezers heats up- use after every 20 mins, then rest, repeat. *Sensitive cap- personally, I couldn't use it as it was better to use the epilator directly for removing armpit hairs. Also the cap covers only 4 tweezers, so only 16 tweezers are used. Also, a distance is formed, which hurts more. Suggestion: (for Amazon) In the description of Amazon, it's mentioned that this product is from 'China'...it's not correct. The company originated from the Netherlands and they have multiple manufacturing units, in various countries. The one I received is manufactured in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Africa. The quality of the product is good as it's tested during and after manufacturing by Philips themselves. Rest all descriptions given are correct. The offer provided is very amazing. Suggestions: Go ahead, take a leap of faith & buy this product. It's like use it or lose it! It's a very beneficial product...and can literally change your life!

Epilator is good
Epilates best but little painful. Make so much ingrown hairs. At last I stopped using it.

Pain free like shaving. Result like waxing. Buy it.
Great product. Picks out the tiniest hair, unlike waxing where you will have to wait for your body hair to grow long enough. It's pain free for me (I have good tolerance). If you are new to waxing or epilation, you might feel slightly tingly if you let your hair grow long. I use it twice a month and don't feel a thing. However, I used to get ingrown hair earlier because of wrong technique that snapped hair from the surface instead of pulling it out. BEST METHOD: Hold the skin taut, the device at a 90° angle and move while applying a little pressure. This way it pulls out the smallest hairs that takes time to grow back. You will have the smoothest feeling for the longest time. The cord is loooooong and so easy to manoeuvre. Twist it in whatever way you want.

Cost, Effectiveness in Hair removal, Handy and Manageable
The Philips corded epilator is a great choice if you're looking for a consistent and efficient hair removal tool. It removes even the tiniest hairs from the root, leaving the skin smooth for weeks. Being corded, you don’t have to worry about charging it—just plug and go. It’s easy to use and works well on legs, arms, and underarms. There’s a bit of discomfort (as with all epilators), but it’s manageable and worth the results. Overall, a reliable and budget-friendly device for long-lasting smoothness!

Good to have
Been using it for 2 months now. The product in itself it good. My only problem is that it heats up quite fast. Other than that, im okay with the pain. It does sting on the inner thigh or back of arm region. So it does pain there a little more when you try to epilate it. On the belly region used it and it cause red bumps. I might have used it wrong or maybe the skin is sensitive there. Idk. V good for legs. Good for arms. Underarms also im able to do. If you can bear the pain then you can do that also. The sensitive area cap seems useless as it doesnt catch any hair if it's on. So what's the point. But otherwise it's nice. Handy.

It's an amazing alternative to waxing
I have read so many mixed reviews and if you are also confused, I hope this detailed review can help you make an informed decision I think 2-3 factors are most important to switch to epilation 1. Your current method of hair removal If you are currently using shaving or hair removal creams, they remove the hairs from surface - so no pain at all In that case this is a leap of faith and ONLY go for it if you have a decent pain bearing limit ( I am not saying it's extremely painful and you need a HIGH threshold, but decent) If you are used to waxing, and prefer removing hairs from their roots/pores Then it's very easy to switch to this and I would recommend you to try this 2. Your laziness/dependence preference- If you prefer someone else doing this work for you so you can sit and chill in a salon / you have some help available easily at your own house - sister/mother/SIL, etc. then may be stick to waxing If you are more comfortable and ok to do hair removal on your own, this is way more preferable than waxing No trouble and chipchip (stickiness) The concept and tips are same as waxing - it plucks out your hair from roots So some pain will always be there, it depends on the thickness and length of your hair also. So if you want to try this first time, may be choose when your hair is not so long (after 15-20 days of removal) Pull the skin or grip the targeted area tightly and run this in opposite direction of your hairs You will get the same bumps (daane) and redness like you used to after waxing - if you don't have any such issue you won't have them from epilation as well !! P.S. it generates some noise, so be mentally ready for that or listen to music while doing it Hope this helps you choose the method If you choose epilation This model is amazing to start with and can prove to be a good investment ❤️

Amazing life changing product.
I have been using a razor from a very long time it was convenient but hair use to come after 3-4 days which were like spikes and use to hurt till the time they have not reached a certain length. Honestly, I was a little doubtful at first to buy it so watched a lot of videos and then got the courage to buy it. I was aware it would hurt a little more than waxing but wanted to go for it. As soon as I got the product, I use it on my legs. Now let me tell you the hair on my legs were thick and spikey as they were shaved and the hair growth was thick. At first it did hurt but after seeing the results I was dam happy. It solved my entire problem in seconds. Now I don’t have to use a razor and be afraid of the cuts and the mess it creates, the spiky hair. It’s easy to use. I even shave my bikini area so though of using it there as well as I read that it can used there. When I started doing there it did hurt a lot a lot so I stopped and gathered courage the next day and finally did it. It did hurt a lotttt and the results were exactly like waxing and I have very Happy with it. Thank you so much for the amazing life changing product. I made the right decision of buying it.
