High Ho Silver!
This cleaner is fantastic for silver! It outperforms any other silver coin cleaning product available. It's perfect for bringing the shine back to old silver rounds and bullion. For the best results on silver coins, just be careful not to soak them for too long, and make sure to rinse thoroughly with hot water and pat them dry. You'll be amazed at the results!

Instant results. Fantastic.
There are different types of coin collectors. I'm a heretic that likes silver to be free of oxidation and ugly toning. I like the rainbow colored toning so quit yelling at me. I had a couple dozen silver dollars which I collected as a child, so lets say 65 years ago. They were all from my dad's friends who got them in Vegas, so they were in circulation. Then they sat in a box, decade after decade. Some were ugly. None were pretty. So quit yelling at me. I'd say now, one will make MS, a third will make AU, the rest have had the luster worn off or worse. I'm now buying bright ones that are already sealed and graded MS. I won't buy the ugly ones.

Best coin cleaner on the market.
When used carefully, the original brilliance of the coin returned. It removes years of dirt and grime with a minimum of effort on your part. For heavily grime, soak for 10 minutes and use a soft toothbrush to "lightly" scrub the surface using a circular motion so as not to damage the coin. A quick rinse in cold water and your coin looks new and brilliant.

Did not include dipper as in pic, did ok on grime but not tarnish.
I attempted to restore a few coins using MS-70 with lackluster results. I decided to ramp it up a little and try this because it was touted as being a much stronger agent that could remove undesireable residues and milk spots from coins. It even warns to not allow coins to be in contact with the solution for any longer than 5 seconds. I followed all the instructions...wore gloves, made sure the area was ventilated, etc. The smell of the sulfuric acid was mostly covered up by the perfume, which basically makes it smell like blue mouthwash, sort of a cinnamint smell. After 5 seconds of submersion (using a plastic spoon since the dipper was NOT included) there was hardly any recognizable result. Since these coins are not in any condition worth grading, I decided to experiment and dip them longer. I got up to 20 seconds before the obvious grime began to dissolve and the coins began to look marginally brighter. The benefit ended there. After a full FIVE MINUTES the milk spots and album plastic damage were still evident. There was also no apparent damage to the coins, fortunately. They still had the same level of cartwheel luster as they had before the dip. So I'm going to pass final judgment on this product as "mid." It doesn't work miracles, but it did manage to clean some additional grime off the coins. It is not nearly as corrosive on silver and clad coins as the warnings would suggest, but I cannot attest to the effect on copper at this time.

Excellent product - excellent results
Update June 2021: I realized that my first review was given after not completely following instructions. Instructions say to first clean the coin with a mild soap solution. When doing this I got really excellent results. It will remove more than surface dirt, although best used on a coin that is in F or better condition. Changed to a 5 star rating and highly recommend it! (comment about packaging still applies) This pretty much does what it is advertised to do. It removes some dirt and tarnish from coins without really doing the type of deep cleaning that would lessen their value. Be aware that this means it will not remove much more than surface dirt and blemishes and this somewhat weakly. Don't expect it to change a dark coin to have luster. It is also pretty pricey. So if you are an experienced coin collector it is a good thing to have. If you just want to really deep clean coins and don't care too much about their subsequent valuation by a numismatist, baking soda cleans much better for a lot less money. Beware! This is a liquid that for some reason was packaged in a jar rather than a bottle. When I opened it I got spills all over the table it was on.

Cleans fast
Works very fast. This will not make a non-mint coin into mint condition. It is simply a good cleaner.
