I bought the unit back in 2021, I was tired of having to try fit bud-earphones which were almost always uncomfortable and difficult to hear. I wasn't keen on blowing a massive amount on the well-known brands and so was searching for a reasonably well reviewed cheaper option and this device was the ideal, even if it did feel like a bit of a punt. However, I've been pleasantly surprised on every count. My first thing to say is that it wasn't clear if the kit came with the open-face boom or just the full-face one. It does have both in it, so you can chose the option best suited to your needs. I almost didn't buy because the description wasn't overly clear to me at having an flip-front helmet, it was important. The initial device pairing is a little bit of a faff, but the instructions are clear and since then, it has always paired without fail and has been completely reliable. The battery life is superb, I've only once had it run out of battery and that was mostly just forgetting to charge the device. Sounds quality is decent. Not world-changing, but certainly better than I expected given the price point. I mainly use the device for navigation instructions and music, rather than calls or intercom but it has suited those needs perfectly. I've also not tried pairing two comms together, from what I can tell, it's a similarly involved process to the initial device pairing, so a bit of a faff but doable. The device has also stood up to rain perfectly fine, something I did want to experience before writing a review. It sees fairly constant use on any kind of journey over an hour, simply because being able to listen to music etc without discomfort makes things so much more pleasant, and I can say that it has stood up to that use in pretty much all conditions for nearly a year without fault. I'm likely to buy a second kit for my other helmet and would happily recommend it to others.

If you are debating on whether to buy this product or not, I can genuinely confirm that for the price point you won't be disappointed - even when compared to more more expensive brands. The intercom unit does exactly what it needs to and does it well: - Good battery life - Good sound quality - Phone connection and intercom capability - Easily installed with choice of fixings, microphones etc My wife and I use these while on my bike and they work well allowing us to communicate well and we don't need to charge the units after every ride which is a bonus! Also the customer service I received was great, I had a few questions so I emailed using the email I found in the questions/reviews. I got a quick response and they then corresponded with my via WhatsApp, answering all queries I had.

Worked great from minute one. Battery lasts a decent amount of time and easy to connect to a phone. Great for beginners who want to listen to music when riding at a reasonable price

Nice and compact, easy to fit, unfortunately when I make a call the person says I sound very muffled. Wish I returned it.

Ordered the Freed Conn VB communications unit on the recommendation of a fellow Blood Bike volunteer. I’d not had cause to purchase a comms unit previously but now it’s needed. Fitting the unit is easy although dependant on the make of helmet a minor adaptation may be required to the cheek padding. The operation of the unit is easy, once you’ve got used to each function. The sound quality is very good and at 70mph it is clear. Pairing the unit to my phone was a doddle. I initially opted for using the clamp mounted bracket but decided to try the self adhesive pad bracket. I had a minor mishap with the retaining clip for the unit (it broke). This occurred on day 32 of ownership and only having used it a couple of times I made contact with the supplier and they replaced the bracket immediately - so customer support get 10/10 from me. I’m satisfied with this unit and would recommend it, in fact I have, so when I’m out on a ride with my mate we can communicate bike to bike.

I bought a couple of these a few years back, and recently one died. So I bought this, not knowing that it's the "new updated version". But ok I thought, it must have improved somewhat over the years surely? Nope. The mic is terrible, voices sound distorted all the time. And I get random electrical noise constantly whether someone is moving or not. And the range is worse now, as soon as someone goes more than a few feet away it starts cutting out. Lastly, the new version isn't fully compatible with the old version. Even though they're both called VB, I now cannot turn down the volume on the old headset. So I'm now faced with the choice of having to return this one, or buy more of this junk. Not at all happy, think I'll try another manufacturer.

At first this product was absolutely amazing!! I loved it, found it a bit quiet as was using it on my motorbike so found I had to have it full volume same with on my phone, but the sound was clear I can hear music and directions, it broke and it was replaced, amazing customer service wouldn't fault it one bit! I've now been using the replacement and it's a bit different to the original one I brought, it randomly turns off, just disconnects while using it, the voice is a odd accent, cuts half the direction out so it was try to say "turn left in 50yards" but will actually say something like "ft in 50yards" I know that's not a big deal but when you keep missing turns and the directions because half the direction isn't being given to you it's just very frustrating. I'm very slowly giving up with this device as its so annoying when it just randomly disconnects or just turns off all by itself, phones on my all the time while using the intercom yet does funny things like that, I'm hoping it's just been bad luck with these devices, they are good for how cheap they are but next time I'm just going to buy a more expensive/we'll known intercom so I can actually trust it

Für unseren Bedarf genau richtig. Als Intercom ist ein ganzer Tag mit 11-12 Stunden Fahrzeit gar kein Problem. Auch in Verbindung mit Navi hält das Interkomm einen Tag durch. Also alles Betsens!

Es muy bueno . Util y facil de montar. Tiene muy buena calidad de sonido se eschucea muy bien . La bateria dura bastante dependiendo tb de cuanto se utiliza . Pno tengo ningun inconveniente. Un saludo.

Habe das Intercom für meine Freundin gekauft, damit wir es mit meinem Sena koppeln können. Hat alles prima funktioniert! Wenn jemand Probleme beim koppeln mit einem Sena (hier: Sena 20S Evo) hat, kann sich mein angefügtes Video schauen.
