Hiking Waist Pack Bum Bag Waist Bag with Bottle Holder Running Bag for Camping Climbing Travel Cycling and Dog Walking

I have previously used a backpack for dog walks but was suffering from muscle strain in my shoulders and upper back so decided to try a waist bag and this is ideal as it's lightweight and comfortable to wear. Plenty of compartments and surprising how much it holds, i.e. phone, keys, foldable water bowl, small dog coat, bag of treats, ball, sun visor / cap, inhaler and lip salve plus a water bottle and poo bags in the two outside pockets. So much easier to get to everything too when it's worn on the front. I found it to be good quality and value for money. The neck strap is a little thin so I swapped it for a padded one off another bag. Only slight niggle is that the rings for the strap are inside the side pockets which can make it difficult to access the water bottle etc.

Excellent spacious little bag that comfortably holds 2 x 500ml water bottles. A great alternative to a rucksack.

I have been searching for a suitable bum bag which is good quality and practical. I have a health condition which means I have at times been really wobbly on my pins, so I figured having a bum bag for home use, to carry my phone etc with me, while freeing my hands up for stability ( walls crutches etc) would be helpful. I wanted to also be able to use the bum bag while out and about as I’m finding my cross over bag uncomfortable, I like to carry quite a few things with me when out, such as headphones, charger case, cables, battery packs etc. I think the original idea of the bum bag for me had been for it to have less capacity than my hand bag. But then I got a bit carried away with what I needed to take when out and about so I was drawn to the idea of multiple pockets and a water bottle holder. I originally ordered a different brand of bag and if I’m honest I preferred that one as the pocket hight was lower/smaller but the waist strap was far too big, I’m a size 8/10 but I like to wear the bag on my waist and the other strap was too long. This brand certainly fits better round the waist but I think the pockets are too tall as I say I’m a size 8/10 and 160 Cm so I feel a bit swamped by the over all size of the bag. I haven’t decided if I’m going to return the bag yet as I can see it certainly has it’s uses basically you can get your whole handbag in there, which may or may not be a good thing. I think if you are a bigger person ( taller or wider) you may feel less swamped by the size of the bag. The quality, practically and over all build are plenty good enough if not more so, I especially like the padded and breathable parts of the belt as they feel like they give you added security and comfort. But for me it’s about weighing up if it’s the right product for me and as such I’m giving it 4 stars because I need to think about if it’s the right one for me, if it was 5 stars it would be a no brainer and I would be 100% sure it was a keeper!

Lots of room and plenty of pockets. I'm a dog walker and it's been really good and plenty of space for everything I need to carry which includes two sets of keys, phone and dog treats and poo bags plus a cap and hand sanitizer. I've got room for more if I need to. The belt has a good clip and size is still fine to bend over to wash dogs and pick up poo etc. Good value for money as long as it lasts well, only time will tell that.

This is my second- the first (a red one) lasted over five years on about four multi-week birdwatching trips a year. In the end some of the fabric ripped - but only because I overpacked it. I recommend it: very good design and the two water bottle holders do work, contrary to the reports of others. You just need to ensure the strap is lifted before inserting the bottle. I use one of the two to hold a folding umbrella upright. Not too bulky but still takes plenty (- in my case all at once of: insect repellent, sun cream, gloves, snood, folding hat, dehydration tablets, antbacterial gel, pills)

I bought this for walking with the kids and dogs, it’s wonderful! You can fit everything in it securely, the straps are very comfortable to wear and don’t slip or pinch as you walk. I’ve successfully packed for a whole afternoon out with snacks, treats, drinks, purse, keys and toys with plenty of room to spare. The best feature that drew me to this was you can fit two 750ml contigo bottles easily in each side, it has these little straps to help fasten them in better too. Also if you’re just taking one water bottle you can make the whole bag more compact and secure with the bottle straps. The only issue I’ve encountered, like all dog walking bags with bottle holders, is when you have to pick up the dogs ball etc the bottles threaten to fall out. It’s much less with this one with the straps but I’ve gotten into the habit of swivelling the bag over to my left hip as I pick up the ball and swivelling back to throw and continue on our travels. It’s a little irritating at first but the straps stay at the right size and it works well at keeping things in place solving the problem making it a 5* purchase

I have had a similar lumber pack made by a different company which I used so much in perished. Looking at many other manufacturers there did not seem an obvious replacement. Many makes ranging from too small, could not take large drinking bottles, many had hydration bladders that I do not use, some really over priced. However on finding and purchasing the Waterfly large lumber pack I can only say it is a worthy replacement. Only time will tell how robust it is but so far the quality of of make, materials and construction all look really good and tidy. Perfect if like me you cycle and need to carry tools, spares and drink bottles, walk and like to do some walks without a daypack and trail run and need lots of space for water bottles, phone, keys, wallet and maps. Overall excellent product, delivered quickly and well worth the money!

Why did you choose this product over others?: It is perfect if you don’t want to take out a rucksack or have a bag on your shoulder. It has Good storage with zips on with little pockets on the inside. It has the ability to be able to carry 2 drinks bottles. Very good quality.
