Nostalgia!
Used to build these as a kid and I loved it so much! These ones are nothing like the motorized ones. If we had the correct tools ours would have turned out way better! But because of inexperience and the lack of certain tools some of the pieces fall off and didn’t snap correctly. Lesson learned of course! Wonderful product and nostalgic to build these again!

Gunpla and Zoid fans, don’t question it, BUY THIS KIT
I originally bought this kit a year ago and never got around to building it. That all changed a few days ago and I’m glad it did. My childhood was reignited after just opening the box and finally getting started on the build. My main introduction to anime was through mecha anime like Gundam, but Zoids was always a favorite. And this Liger Zero does not disappoint. Everything I remember from the anime with Liger Zero is all right here. Let me say you won’t be disappointed. Ease of build: Forewarning, if you are a beginner to gunpla, with this kit it’s easy to build, but not without the right tools. You can very easily snap the plastic in some parts (I did not but seen video reviews of some who did). Get yourself a decent pair of nippers, a file for clean up and maybe a nice cutting mat for the water decals. Honestly the hardest part of the build to me was the accessories. All my water slides fell off after 2 days so I just took them off 😂 Appearance: You want an eye catcher on your shelf. This is it right here. Liger Zero has this kind of ferocious attention grabbing look, that’s actually more though out after panel lining (Before and after pictures above, haven’t panel lined everything yet as I want to color the claws, teeth and red gears with metallic gundam markers) Speaking of which: Ease of construction, the ability to take armor pieces off and such, all here, you can break this down to the barebones like as if Liger just use the Panzer attachments and overheated. I believe these kits DO have the other forms (Jager, Schneider and Panzer) attachments so this kit can be transformed into its other counterparts. (Correct me if I’m wrong) Articulation: there isn’t really a pose I haven’t been able to get this into that’s within reason for its shape. It’s a cat, not a Gundam. So posing seems limited, unless you can get an action base. But the balance on this is great so you can get some really good ground poses even, but if you have an action base that can support it, get it in the air, so you have more freedom for poses. I find that the master grade stands work best for these as Liger Zero is a hefty boy. Honestly between the weights of a Master Grade Gundam and a PERFECT GRADE. If I have to say what this kit is… this feels well above a High End Master Model. Honestly they could have told me this is close to perfect grade and I would have believed you. Don’t hesitate to get the kit once you see it in stock or are able to import it or whatever. A well worth it for any gunpla/zoids collection, actually it’s like the Red Kai Astray MG… a MUST HAVE

Fun build and it looks amazing! Took me about 8 hours and no issues with the build.
I really enjoyed this build it took about 8 hours and everything fit together pretty smoothly. This was my first build in a long time so I went for the master kit and I got right into it. Everything is movable and a couple pieces may come loose if not tightened down enough (I only used glue for less than 10 pieces) but I don't move it much and they can be easily re attached. Overall I bought for the nostalgic feeling of my youth and got my fix. 10/10 would recommend the Liger Zero kit.

Great model!
I knew the size of this when I bought it but once I was getting it together, I was blown away by just how big it really is! It went together great. It does tell you in the instructions when a good use of a little glue is recommended and its not wrong. A few pieces are very small and glue is definitely needed to keep the little guys from falling apart. I did need to glue a few other places, like the parts of the tail because they would come apart kinda easy when posing it. For the most part though this model is amazing! Worth every penny spent and all the time it took to get it together.

Fun build
First of this kit had some great tolerances the parts snapped together. I had a great time building it. The lower jaw piece did have to glued together though. And I would have liked to see some kind of backing for the transparent orange bits I put some tamiya silver on them.

Awesome kit!
Would be a 5 star for over all quality and details but kinda salty about how the box showed up. Cant wait to clean it up and paint it.

What a buy
Wow, i was so excited to get this and when i pulled it out and saw just how massive this box was surprised me and the amount of stuff it had, made it feel like Christmas. I have muiltipul gundams built under my belt, and this Zoid is much similar but sets itself apart from a gundam HG and such by the amount of detail iv done so far & i only have the head and whats becoming the main frame. if your wondering if the price is worth it reading this trying to decide, let me tell you, just do it you wont regret it. its under 90$ if you have prime but a bit over if you dont for everything, yes that's quite a bit of money but its worth it, trust me.

I'm a big fan of Zoids: New Century, and I've wanted a Liger Zero toy/Kit since I was a little kid. So once I found this kit, I jumped at the chance to buy it, and I'm not disappointed with it. It goes together nice and firm (some glue is required for small pieces), I don't feel like any of the parts are going to fall off or apart, and it's surprisingly posable. If you're a fan of Zoids this is a beautiful thing to have in your collection. I can't wait to buy more Zoid model kits.

These kits from Kotobukiya are a treat to build. It's beneficial to use a translator app as the instructions are in Japanese and there are several special notes regarding fitting or using glue that can easily be missed and effect the stability of your build. While painting isn't essential, it will improve the looks as there are many parts that are molded in single colors. The stock images in the listings are often painted builds which can be misleading for beginners.
