My slices are so uniform, they could stand in a police lineup. The only downside? My family now expects perfectly portioned cheese at all times, and my charcuterie boards have achieved a level of artistry I never knew I possessed. Five stars – it's not just a cheese cutter, it's a testament to civilized snacking.

I recently purchased one and it's quite unique. Like it; however, I expected the dome cover to be used while the cutter was enguaged. Nope, you have to remove the cutter in order to fit the dcome on the board. Also, I find that the cheeses, when pressed on to the holder, ten to want to crack and split. This ruins the effect. I think an additional tool should be offered to slice a small round wedge from the center of your cheeses before pressing on to the holder to help avoid any additional cracking and splitting of the cheeses; kind of like a stainless steel straw that is sharp on one end. Please let me know if Boska developes one of these as I will purchase it.

After I was introduced to the cheese curler in Europe, I just had to have one, though it has very limited use. It’s main use is for Tete de Moine Cheese ( which is expensive!) to shave it into very thin curls and other round solid cheeses (doesn’t work with soft cheeses). It also can be used to make chocolate curls. The item is not cheap but well constructed of solid hard wood and good quality steel blade. Just wish the knob on the blade handle was also made of wood or metal and the dome of glass instead of plastic. I hope both will hold up. Great conversation piece for wine and cheese parties!

I really like this product. The way it is designed is absolutely remarkable. Very easy to use, perfectly fits the whole cylinder of cheese which is very useful. The cheese curls come out very thin and perfect. The only thing that can be improved (imo) would be to have glass dome instead of plastic. I think it is more durable.

Beautiful piece except the dome was cracked.

Works well. It’s made from wood so there is the possibility of warping. That is the only fault. If you have the extra $25 go ahead and spring for the marble. Totally worth it.

Reçu avec 5 jours d’avance, en parfait état. Socle en bois épais, l’esthétique bien réalisée, harmonieux, un très bel objet à poser pour un apéro convivial et chaleureux. J’ai hâte de l’essayer. Il est bien indiqué sur la notice et la description, qu’il NE faut PAS mettre le support bois dans l’eau NI au réfrigérateur, sinon le bois peut se fendre ou se déformer. La poignée de la lame est en « plastique » je trouve que c’est mieux pour le lavage : si c’était en bois, le bois gonflerait au contact de l’eau au fur et à mesure des lavages et se fendrait, bien pensé. Édité : première utilisation, succès fou, cela fait de très belles fleurs de tête de moine.
