Trying to rescue a feral cat before what could be an harsh Chicago winter. The little buddy is loving but playful and has razor sharp claws and likes to nip. Bought these along with some heavy duty leather gloves. MAGID is an American company, a manufacturer and distributor, in the Chicagoland area, making and selling only quality products. These gloves did not disappoint and are far better than the leather gloves in terms of comfort and dexterity. No punctures at all, even after being rabbit kicked by kitty's back legs. The gloves are form fitting, but I found the XL good for a man doing outdoor tasks. I just bought a second pair for my wife. Support American companies.

I have small hands. Initially, I would have ordered a size small, but I kept reading reviews that small was too small (like for a child). I was hesitant about ordering in medium, because I want my gardening gloves to fit like, well - gloves! I did order the medium, albeit skeptically. My hand is 6 1/2" and these fit perfectly. As to their durability - these are rose gloves, folks. I prune my dozen rosebushes & even several barberries & they protect my arms just fine. They aren't made to protect from long thorns, nor are they made for doing rock-moving landscaping projects - you need leather work gloves for those types of jobs. I have four different types of gardening gloves plus shoulder length pond cleaning gloves, as I garden for many hours a week, & the right glove for the job is very important to me. If you are looking for a great pair of ROSE gloves, these are perfect & quite well-made. Just trust that they really do run small & you'll be happier ordering a size up, especially if you have a short palm but long fingers!

I'm so glad I ordered these. They really come in handy when pruning my roses and Barberry bushes. Ocassionally a thorn will get thru, but it's rare. I wear them sometimes when just doing yardwork like pulling weeds or deadheading flowers because the length comes far up my arms and keeps the sun, spiders, bees and other insects off my arms. Worth the price.

Nice gloves. I used them today to prune bougainvilleas (thorns!) and they worked fine - no pokes! I love the long length and they saved my forearms, which is why I ordered them. I usually order a ladies large, but got medium based on reviews and I’m glad I did. The thumb and pinky finger are both a little long in the glove, but the rest of the fingers fit fine. My only complaint was the way they were sent. I clearly got a return because the package was ripped open and the card on the gloves bent (likely from the previous person trying them on). It just seemed a little tacky and unlike Amazon. Gloves were clean and unused so I kept them.

This is the 2nd time buying this. I bought one last 2019 and it’s worn out! This does the work when I trim and dead head my roses! It’s thick enough to protect you from getting hurt from the thorns! And it’s durable to last a long time!

I have regular/standard gardening gloves and figured they'd be just fine managing my new roses. I was a fool! I was getting stuck and stabbed all over the place. The leather ones worked better than standard, but then my arms still got scratched up. I did a little research and saw that this brand was recommended by some of the gardening websites. I took a chance and ordered the ones in the least expensive color. I have been pleasantly surprised. They fit well, I got Large. I am overweight and have wider forearms at 5'10 than an average woman and these fit. They aren't roomy, but they aren't tight. I also have pretty sensitive hands, no callouses etc. So while my hands look nice, wearing gardening gloves can be it's own challenge. In most leather gloves the inside seems start rubbing sores around my joints. I haven't had that issue at all with these. They are comfortable and seem sturdy. Should the pair I have wear out, I would buy these again.

Although they claim the items on the finger tips are for texting, I didn't have luck doing that or fine motor anything with them on. I got these to replace long gloves I used in my garden, especially working, clipping my roses and they've worked out very well. I have a hard time finding gloves that fit as I, a girl, inherited my Dad's broad hands. I think my fingers are also wider but shorter than many. (see pic). This is important because these gloves fit me really well and they cost less than $20. My last pair lasted several years but the replacement cost was over $60 so I was very happy to find these gloves and even happier to try them on and find they're a great fit (a lot of it is I don't have an inch of empty space at the end of each finger. :-) Makes me very happy. Great gloves for a great price.

I don't write many reviews but I had to on these. I have this very thorny blackberry bush I have scratches all over me just to try to cut and I came in went on Amazon and read the reviews and ordered these asap. I got them in the mail other day and I was excited to try these and boy do they work I didn't get stuck at all I could grab the branches with no problem I love that they cover the arms and I got the medium size and the gloves fit great. I totally recommend these for those terrible thorny bushes. Now I don't be getting attacked lol I'll be doing the attacking 😀 I only used once so far if any issues I'll come back and update my review.

Good quality, well finished, but as my wife's hands are weak, she finds them hard to grasp plant materials properly.

Nice & thick, good quality & length

These gloves are so tough yet comfortable. I've used them in many hard gardening tasks, with a lot of abrasive action on rocks and grit. They get wet all the time and have survived everything. I'm so happy with them. The extra length is great when working with long allergic weeds. The touch of colour is a nice touch.
