Fun travel game set. Love how compact and easy it is to setup for a game of backgammon. Can play virtually anywhere in no time. Do wish this came with a storage back though, a must add on.

This is a fun piece for a very mobile society where you can't always reach your board game collection when you have people to play games with. The board can be pulled out of your backpack purse anything really thrown down on a table and the game is on. Backgammon is an age old game of course so tried and tested rules for variations are available online. This board allows for all of them and rolls up quite nicely putting away both pieces and dice in a single slim package to throw back into said travel bag. Whether you are in an airport in Bangkok, killing time in LA, or catching a few rays at a local park, this is the board and the game to throw down on a local park bench, coffee table, or friends dining table and play a few rounds while the internet drones on in the background on both television and cell phone, allowing much needed diversion from the world and a chance to catch up with old friends (or make new ones).

While the suitcase sizes and quality are by far your best choice for playing at home, at 50.00 or so this roll up suede version rivals it in every way for its size. The quality of the suede coupled with the zippered elongated pocket provide you with the big size feel. You get black dice and white, a doubling cube and black and white pieces. If it was magnetic it would be complete. It rolls small and fits easily in a computer case or a commuter onboard luggage. The snaps are huge metal, not flimsey plastic. The suede makes it very classy and high ended, which given the price, makes sense

This is a high quality backgammon set that I use when I mentor at our local high school. It rolls up nicely and is small enough to throw in my big purse. The pips are sized for the board and everything fits nicely into the zippered slot. No complaints, just high praise for this wonderful. classy, enviable set.

On the small side, but that's kind of the point right? Very sturdy, easily thrown in a bag for travel.

Great (small) backgammon set. Well made, compact, light, easy to take anywhere, and of course a fun game. Small pieces zip up securely. My only gripe is that your opponent's dice seem to roll unfair doubles toward the end of most games, no matter what color or direction they're playing, but I don't have the heart to dock a star from Sondergut.

This backgammon sets rolls up small and is very easy to travel with, but the pieces are solid and not too small so they are easy to use when playing. The set is nice looking and feeling. We bought it for our travel trailer and use it often.

思いのほか早めに到着しました。 革なので見た目も可愛いく、スペースもあまり取らず、持ち運びも楽なので重宝しています！ただ購入して開けてみると、縫い目の糸が出ていたので、丁寧な作りではなさそうです。大事に使います！

Muy buena opción para viajar. Tiene el tamaño perfecto para ello, las piezas ni muy grandes ni muy chicas. Lo único que podría decir en contra es que, al desplegar el tablero se forman pequeños montículos que se vuelven un poco molestos, pero nada que impida poder jugar. Lo volvería a adquirir sin dudarlo.

This product arrived and I am very happy with it. The leather case is well constructed and the game pieces and dice are very nice. All in all a good purchase

I was afraid the pieces would be too small and hard to manipulate(I have big hands) ... you get used to it pretty fast. It's a bit pricey but it has a good quality feel.
