Your Happy Chicks 1 Qt. Hanging Harness with Plastic Bottle and Feeder Base

The feeder and harness comes with everything needed whatever the setup. This is about the fourth one of these hanging feeders I purchased but the first from this maker/seller and I wish I bought the first three here too. It is priced well since otherwise the feeder and harness are sold separately, and also because I only needed one (this time). I bought this for chicks in a brooder but I use this for my hens as well for the oyster shells and grit and also because I give them a little extra medicated chick feed in the winter. It's also good to have these on hand in case you need to quarantine a hen. So I definitely use it way past the chick stage and get my money's worth! I'll buy this brand next time!

This is a great little feeder. Sturdy straps with a hook on top and chain to hang feeder. Worked great for my chicks hung just above ground prevented them from kicking pine shavings into their food.

I seen this product on amazon but only found this with the bottle and harness . My hens were getting alot of bedding in their food and this was perfect. Easy to install and assemble and sturdy. Came in very fast good price for the whole assembly. Thanks so much my girls get a bed free feeder and I dont have to be out there twice a day cleaning the food tray. Thanks a million

I like this product so much that now I wish they came in larger sizes.1,2 or even 5 gallons would be great!

These are perfect and already put together. The young chicks waste so much food. This puts an end to it and it’s plastic so they don’t cut themselves

This feeder is so great that I ended up buying another one! I only have a few chickens so the large feeder someone gave me was too big. Although this one can hold a lot of food, I can keep the other food fresh. It also keeps chicks and chickens from getting bedding, poop, and dirt in the food because it's hanging. It's easy to hang and works great!

I’ve had this now for 3 weeks, and the bottom has fallen off 3 times. And food went everywhere. It’s just way too easy to slide off… I’m not really sure why the bottom part (the red part) can unscrew and turn into two pieces… I just spent the money to get a bigger and better feeder. I’ll probably use this one when we’re on vacation so the sitter won’t need to worry about food at all but to me, it’s not worth it. Also, forgot to add, you have to fill the bottom before filling the bottle, otherwise the content of the bottle fills the bottom completely so… it’s just too much of a hassle.

It's a perfect size for my two chickens and it's easy to put it together. My chickens love it :o)
