Love this mouse
Logitech m560 Surprisingly, this mouse is really good. I was a fan of Logitech mouse and I switch to Microsoft to try their bluetrack mouse. None of my logitech mouse is spoilt (the wired and wireless). So now, even though my old mouse (both logitech and microsoft) are still working fine, I switch to M560 due to the "nano" receiver. My old receiver is quite long so there is no way I can keep that attached with the notebook when I put it in the bag. I am happy that I do not have to unplug the receiver and can just leave it on the notebook itself. Pro: 1. Hyper-scroll Loved it, make you scroll easily through a long document. 2. Click to click mode If you hate hyper-scroll and prefer to the old scroll, just click on it and it will become the old scroll that you loved. I use both mode and loved both modes. They are useful for different things. Cons: 1. I need to find a way to turn off the Windows 8.1 button since I do not use the command often, I would rather dedicate the button for something else.

The best for the price!!
AMAZING mouse. I've bought many wireless mouses as a laptop and desktop user and this one takes the cake. Battery life is incredible: I leave it on most of the time-- and even so the battery lasts several months, almost a year. USB is sleek and discrete. While the scroll wheel takes a little getting used to, I love it as well! You can click it to make it spin very quickly with a gentle flick. 1 year later it's working great. The little pads at the bottom came off by now, and was sticky at first. that's the only draw back I can think of-- but in my opinion, it's very negligible. I WOULD buy this mouse again- if I had a need for one!

WORST MOUSE EVER
This is not only the worst mouse I have ever used, it is the worst mouse I have ever seen or heard about. The main problem is that instead of TWO buttons to right and left click, there is ONE WIDE button (see photo) and you have to lean click to one side or the other. If you click close to the wheel, on either side of it, you WILL click the center and quickly click one button and then the other... and if you're double-clicking you'll quickly click both buttons twice. Just imagine for a second how much trouble four erroneous clicks can cause. There are also buttons on the side RIGHT where you rest your thumb (righty), so you accidentally click them too. It's also quite ugly. It's okay from the top, as in the picture, but from any angle at all it's disproportionately ugly (too wide at the front). This thing is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I'm returning it and they should pay me for my trouble.

Great mouse for the money. Works on a Mac with basic features.
I have to note that I bought this for a Mac. Pros - works well and has no issues on a matt table - wheel is responsive - button layout is very user friendly - buttons are very responsive - silver version looks much nicer in real life than in the photo (if you have a Garmin GPS with the steel imitation bar at the bottom, that's what it looks like) - ergonomic and sits well in the front two thirds of the hand (comfortably) -- my hand flat is the full length of a 2012 mac mini Cons - the buttons really do not work on the Mac. you get a response but it's useless. But, it is made for Windows. It states that. :-) - I miss the larger mice of the 90's. The mouse ends just past my knuckles towards the palm.

Perfect wireless mouse for large hands
For a $20 mouse I wasn't expecting something so good, all the buttons feel great and the size is perfect for my large hands One thing to note is you should change the button functions using the SetPoint software, by default the button settings aren't that great. Note that these logitech mice do NOT connect via bluetooth and require a unifying receiver (comes in the box, all you need is a spare USB port), which you can pair using the setpoint software. Speaking of which, the SetPoint software is fantastic!! The ability to change the settings for the buttons are so much better than on my G502 using the Logitech gaming software, and I actually find the button underneath the scroll wheel to be somewhat useful and a great replacement for the middle button on the mouse wheel. Speaking of which, the mouse wheel doesn't have a middle button, so you have to use the button underneath the scroll wheel as a replacement anyway. In my opinion a dedicated button for middle click is much better, but your opinion may vary. I would go as far to say that this mouse is better for productivity than my G502, even though it's wireless and 1/3rd the price! Of course if you want to do gaming specifically you may prefer a wired mouse, but so far I am very impressed with what Logitech has managed to achieve here as a product.

An okay mouse, but coming from a Logitech M510 I was disapointed.
I was excited when Logitech released a new mouse that was silver! Finally one that goes with Macbooks or those with a silver PC setup. Anyway Cosmetics aside, that was before I had it in my hand So what did I find? Look and Feel, The Mouse is Silver that's cool... However upon feeling it in your hand you will notice it feels cheaper and less sturdy then the Logitech M510 and some other mice I was very disappointed in this respect. (This thing cost me $40!) The Martial used in it is a cheap Mate plastic, The kind you used to find on those old silver Acer aspire laptops ( Circa. 2005-7) or the cheap mate plastic you find in your car interior trimmings. It's "Ok" But it just doesn't feel as nice like other mice. Like the semi glossy plastic used in the m510. I wish they used better plastic. On top of that when you hold it or tap on it its not as sturdy as it should be for $40. I feels a lot like a Logitech 310 to me. (That you can get for $25) Day to use: The mouse is ok in the hand, but to me it lacked some preciseness that I'm used to in the Logitech m510 ,Apple and Microsoft Mice. Scrolling is pretty nice you can choose between free rolling scrolling and the traditional clicking scrolling by pressing the scroll wheel in or out. But to gain this you give up middle clicking (More on that bellow) There is no Middle Click Button By Default! When you click the middle buttons it toggles the scrolling between free spinning wheel and clicking scrolling. That kind of stinks. However! you can download Logitech's SetPoint software for Windows 7 or 8 and map any of the buttons to middle click. However! this takes getting used to and will not work by default on anything without this software like Linux or Mac OSX. Plus your supposed to use the button for the start menu? right? But you will end up mapping it to middle click and it's a little awkward. The mouse is "optimized for windows 8", But works just fine anywhere else Mac, Linux, Windows 7. However without setpoint you will not have middle clicking or customizations. Setpoint is only available on Windows 7 & 8. Because of this I have to rate it 3 out of 5. I recommended going with the Logitech M510. But if you want this mouse Make sure you have Windows 7 ,8 And use Setpoint or Make sure you don't care about middle clicking. And are ok with a semi plasticy mouse. I Like the Idea and Love Logitech but this feels like a cheaper product then it claims to be (Should be $25).

I'ts a great product, very confortable
I'ts a great product, very confortable, and very very long life battery, Buy this mouse because my previous mouse , stick possessed by the spirit of some V8 and began to consume a lot of energy, not existed couple of batteries to last more than two weeks . The mouse logitech in 5 months of use continues with the same battery of the first day and even without symptoms of exhaustion, being that I use the mouse 8 hours a day 5 days a week intensively. The programmable buttons are excellent and as comfortable, the scroll has two modes, you can use it with clicks or may become totally free wheel. It is a highly recommended product.

Great PC mouse with free wheeling scroll but extra buttons don't map on a Mac
This is the best wireless mouse logitech makes. Fits my hand perfect. The scroll wheel is free wheeling after you click it down once. Free wheeling is what I need to scroll through pages, and I can quickly switch to step mode by just clicking the mouse wheel down once. I wish all their mice had this. I also wish this mouse worked better on a Mac. I had to find a third party app that would allow me to map all the buttons. What comes from Logitech just does not work on a Mac
