Perfect camp couch
We have the RBM coody 7 tent, we purchased this couch for our new years camp trip. It took me longer to inflate than my tent. Once I was set up I tossed some blankets on top to protect it from dirty dog paws, sat down and was very impressed how comfortable the couch was to sit or sleep on. The couch deflated a very small amount after three days. It fit 4 well feed people.

Still so comfortable!!!
It's the end of July and I've had this product for a month and I have to say it does need air- even if you don't sit in it after about a week. The only negative I have for this item is I wish it were higher so that it's easier to get out of. I hope INTEX Will consider making a second model that is 33% taller than the one I bought. The height fully inflated from the carpet to the top of the cushion is 17-18" but once you sit in it, it's several inches less, making it a challenge to get out of. Other than that, it's a great option if you move often. UPDATE: 5/5/24: I have been using this couch by myself often and it's been wonderful. I had company over the weekend and neither one of us are tiny so I think a seam may have broken somewhere but I can't locate the leak. I still think if you're very careful and you don't plop down on it it's a wonderful option especially if you can't lift heavy furniture.

Uncomfortable, Arrived Damaged, Major Hassle to Replace
This couch is mediocre, at best, and uncomfortable, but customer service is terrible. The couch loses air, so you have to pump it up every week. It is a bit too wide, so even a grown man can't sit with his back to the back of the couch and put his knees over the edge. Re cushions slide off of the front, and then you fall between the cushion and the back of the couch. The top of the couch also has a wider bulge, pushing people's heads forward. There aren't any chambers in the main part of the couch, so if anyone new sits on the couch, it bounces the people who are already sitting on the couch. I would have given it a 2 star rating, BUT... As soon as we inflated it for the first time, the corner cushion was leaking air. Products are sometimes defective, which isn't a buggy for us, if customer services replaces the product. In response to our first contact to customer service, they asked us to submerge it in a bath and take a video of the corner cushion air bubbles coming out. Because submerging a couch in a bath is such a reasonable request. Alternatively, they said we could videotape ourselves spraying the cushion with air, which would cause bubbles around the hole(s). Mind you, Amazon does not have a mechanism for sending videos through the message system. In response to our second contact with customer service, they asked for a picture of the deflated cushion, despite that Amazon doesn't allow for pictures to be sent in their mailing system. So, I'm posting the pictures here. In response to our third email to customer service, they again demanded photos (instead of looking at the ones provided In this review), but finally sent a private email address to which we could send the photos. They did not respond to the fourth email, which I sent, at their insistence, from my private email to their private email. I included pictures of the damage in that email. I resent the fourth email, constituting a fifth email. They are back to demanding pictures of the microscopic while and telling me they won't replace the cushion until I can prove there is a whole. I had to open a dispute and get Amazon involved. I am awaiting resolution now. I'm not sure why they required proof. I was only asking for the corner cushion to be replaced, which has no other use besides on this couch. It has now been almost two months and we still do not have a workable couch. So, my advice would be to purchase any other couch from any other seller. If you must purchase this couch, purchase two couches and return one. There's less likelihood that the same part will be defective in two couches. And you won't have to deal with the horrible customer service.

Great for Movie Nights – Super Comfy & Holds Up Well!
I was skeptical about buying an inflatable couch, but this Intex L-shaped sofa has been a game-changer for our small apartment. It fits perfectly in the corner of our living room and gives us way more seating space without feeling cramped. Pros: ✔️ Easy to inflate/deflate – The dual-valve system works great. Used the electric pump (not included) and had it ready in under 10 mins. ✔️ Surprisingly sturdy – Holds my 6’2" husband and two teens (total ~600 lbs) without sagging. No leaks so far after 3 weeks! ✔️ Soft but supportive – The material is thick and doesn’t feel cheap. We added throw blankets for extra coziness. ✔️ Space-saver – Deflates flat for storage under the bed when we need floor space. Cons: ❌ Slippery on hardwood – Slides a bit if someone plops down hard. We put a rug underneath and it fixed the issue. ❌ Armrests are low – Fine for lounging, but could be taller for full arm support. Verdict: Way better than expected for the price! Perfect for Netflix marathons, guest sleepovers, or just extra seating. If it lasts through the year, I’ll definitely buy another one.

I love it, even with the Cons.
Pros: Very big, deep seats. Looks good, clean, sleek. It's comfortable. It's easy to move. It's simple to inflate. Can stand outdoor elements (I live in rainy area, not so much of the hot/cold extremes). It's pretty cool and people are always impressed with it. Cons: The felt-like surface easily collects lint, hair, and other fine particulates. There are a total of 7 air ports that need to be filled, not all easily accessible. Air pump not included, all 3 air pump nozzles are needed. The back of the couch is not flush, the bottom layer sticks out so, you can't rest the back again the wall. UPDATE: I purchased in 2015 and I threw it away in 2017 because it was impossible to clean. I washed it by hand numerous times and stains would not come out. I kept it outdoors so, there were stains from and gecko poop (gross, I know). I tried washing with soap, vinegar, bleach spray, and oxiclean- nothing lifted the stains. Due to its light color, it looked pretty "gross" in about 1 year. I had to cover it in sheets or blankets to hide all the gross-looking stains. In retrospect, I should have done this from day 1 or tried spraying it with scotch guard or something. *OR* it should be manufactured in a darker color and/or easy to clean finish. Know that if you use a colored blanket, the color or lint will likely rub off on the couch. Especially in the first few months of use, you will have to refill after most used because the material appears to continue to stretch.

Functional and comfy but does not retain air
The couch is functional and convenient for an inflatable couch while camping/glamping. I'm a huge fan of this brand of air mattresses, and my son wanted a couch instead of a bed. First, it is very nice looking (doesn't matter for camping, but may look good in an interior play room as well). Second, it is big...very big. You could put 4 to 5 adults on it with room to spare. In 6 6-man canvas cabin tent, this thing takes up 50% of the entire floor. I have an Intex Queen inflatable bed, and the two cannot fit side by side in the tent without making weird angles. There's plenty of room on the couch, but it comes with a space and footprint cost. Third, it is mostly comfortable, but I think for adults, the back and side walls are not strong enough to offer full leaning or resting support. Aside from the size, the strength seems more geared towards lighter adults or kids. My 10-year-old 88-pound kid loves it and thinks it's very comfortable. However, the couch does not convert into a bed, though you can sleep on it or take the cushions off and sleep on the underlying support. This gives a lot more leg room, but then it only sleeps one person. He did not like sleeping on the cushions as a bed, unfortunately. As for durability, I'm dropping 2 stars. I'm used to Intex and inflatable beds and items "losing air" as they stretch. but this thing just deflates within 48 hours. There are 4 sections that hold air: the back, the two side walls, and the bottom cushion support. All 4 inflatable plugs are in different locations and can be a pain to inflate if you have limited room inside a tent. After more than a month of testing outdoors from May 5 , 2025 through June 20, 2025, I can definitely say it goes beyond stretching and just loses air. This has never been taken camping outside our backyard, and was just pulled from the box after purchasing in December of last year. There are no punctures and the backyard is flat, with thick grass. Despite knowing it "stretches" after the first use, I expected to need to top it off once or twice. But this item just kept losing air after inflation. It is a very slow leak and seems to be coming from the air intake valves. Both the back support and the under support lose air, and the bottom support loses it much faster. After 24 hours, it won't support my son (88 lbs). Since the intakes are in 4 different locations and both under the couch, reinflating is not fun. It is even less fun if you have a fully geared tent. I've ordered some silicone sealant and will attempt to seal the intakes around the edges. If that works, I may just have gotten a defective unit. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure how other people are enjoying this as much as the ratings suggest.

3-4 months worked great
Bought this for my boyfriend and I since we couldn’t agree on a couch purchase. Arrived in September and you do need to buy a pump which is annoying. I tried and failed to blow it up by mouth, and then we buckled and bought a handheld pump at Walmart for $20, used to to blow up most the couch but the cushions and arms work a little better if you breath into the last few centimeters of them before plugging the holes. Otherwise it’s just not as comfy. I was surprised this lasted us from September to December and by the time each of our cushions had deflated we had decided on a couch so I’d say this is a great substitute and good value for the money. I wouldn’t recommend it after about 2 months because it’s less comfortable and though we knew our cushions were leaking and saw the stickers in the box to plug a whole we could never find where the air was coming from in order to mend the cushions. In the end, we got at least 3 months out of a couch that I thought would last 3 weeks so I’m glad we did it and would purchase it again for another move.

Not worth the hassle
I wanted to write a positive review to give hope to perspective buyers but I am not able. As much as I wanted this product to work, it was a significant waste of time and money. In the interest of being thorough, here are my thoughts: PROS - In a technical sense, it fits the functional criteria of ‘couch’. It looks like a couch and you can sit on it. CONS (in no particular order) - It takes an extremely long time to inflate and you will be re-inflating it on a daily basis. The process is loud and annoying so, if you live in an apartment, forget about inflating it in the evenings. This “couch” is going to be your day-time project. - There are cracks in it. Ok, so you’re reading the reviews. You’ve seen the complaints but assume it’s just an odd handful of experiences. Maybe they’re from a few months or years ago. Maybe the product has improved. It hasn’t. The left arm of my “couch” deflated dramatically no matter how much care I took when inflating it. The worst part is that I couldn’t find the exact spot that the air was leaking from so consider that “tape” they provide useless. - Due to the cracks and the tedious amount of time it takes to re-inflate, if two people sit on it, it quickly becomes a see-saw. - It is heavy and not easy to carry/transport. - It is not comfortable unless you cover it with blankets. I assume, if like me, you’re drawn to this “couch” for function rather than aesthetics. I advise that you take into account how you will feel when your home starts to look like a dorm room. No matter how much you like your other furniture, this “couch” will cheapen your entire home and reduce how enjoyable you find your surroundings. - Perhaps the most important factor to take into account: This product exists to pray on your vulnerability and desperation. I am waiting on my couch to arrive so I decided to get this product as I wait. Being at home during the pandemic and not having anywhere to lounge but the bed or desk was affecting my well-being. I know that sounds dramatic but over time, I started to feel uncomfortable and desperate for comfort. This “couch” exhibits itself as the temporary solution without breaking the bank. I urge you to consider other options. This is not a solution. It is little more than a cash grab to pray on your desperation. You can get couches secondhand. Two weeks after purchasing this, my neighbour advertised his for $30. I bought it and it put into perspective how much of a hassle and burden this product had become. This inflatable behemoth now lives in the depths of the closet. It is near impossible to fold back into the box so it is sprawling out like a unrelenting weed - a fitting metaphor for the two weeks that I used this product. One star given for the one pro - it is technically a couch. Second star given because it was acceptable while I was desperate but after the short period that I had used it, I realised that I had been manipulated into accepting the terrible downsides of this product out of my own desperation.
