what better way to let the kids burn of some energy than the woods with some laser tag!.It comes with 4 guns and 4 chest pieces which all need 3 batteries each (arent included) it is a lot of batteries but if it's something you plan to use often a few sets of rechargeable will be perfect..You are able to set it up as 4 different teams or how ever you want so perfect for different groups wanting to do teams. The guns all make sounds when shooting which makes it more enjoyable and what makes it better is the chest pieces vibrate when shot. The girls found this extremely funny and would have ended up shooting themselves if they could. You arent able to do this as the cheat piece and gun is linked.These are suited much better for outdoor use as they work up to a range of 30meters and it makes the whole experience more fun being able to run about, hide and create tactics. Yes that last bit is aimed at adults because the straps will fit an adult. Which my husband was super happy about.This gave us hours of fun that can be had again and again it also gives us more of a reason to get out and explore I think we will be getting the full use out of them.

Fantastic toy this has been perfect for the family to have battles over Christmas, the range allows you quite far to attack the opposite teams and the sounds are brilliant. Our age ranges are 3-34 so it makes a great family game where everyone can get involved (not just the children) Up to four players can play each having their own gun and vest in your chosen team colour. There is a large variety of guns to Choose from to use and attack with and they all have their own unique sounds from shot gun to machine gun, easy to load and the triggers aren’t as tough as some play guns and is easy to use.The quality is robust and are very well made and it all fits easily back into the box again.It’s also ideal to take out up the woods for a full team battle.The only issue we had was not having any instructions how the vest straps should be fitted in the instructions as they were in the box separately and took a while to figure out so may be a good idea to add those to the instructions but we found an image off the internet to try and work out who they should fit and eventually got it.Will definitely be recommending this toy we give it a huge 10/10 and it will also last for years to come.

Got these for my nephews aged 9&10 and they loved running around shooting one another. They didn’t bother much with the vests in the end as they were a bit of a hassle to adjust and a bit big for the smaller boy but they still had a lot of fun with the guns. Do remember to get enough batteries!

Ideal to get the whole family or a group of friends playing outdoors.These came well packed and are good quality.A set of 4 Guns and body Plates. My 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter love running around outside trying to shoot each other with these. They're easy to set up and the body plates can be adjusted to fit, I even managed to fit in one and join in myself. Once we were playing a couple of my sons friends came over to have a look and joined in the game. The plates and guns buzz as your shot and you lose a life. Both my children are keen to play again and again and it will be a firm favourite toy this summer. Ideal for keeping your children engrossed and active.

The media could not be loaded. We have so far been very impressed with this toy. They are colourful, when lit up they are bright and clearly indicate how many lives you have left. My son loves the sound effects. They are light and easy to handle so good for younger children as well as older. We think the price is good value as there are four guns/vests in the set.The only suggestion I could add is to change the vest straps so that they have velcro or clips to make them easier to remove.My 5 year old is really impressed with all the additional features and has enjoyed playing them with his dad and friends.

This was our biggest disappointment to be honest two of the four guns wouldn’t work from new they made noises but didn’t work, the size of the straps it only just for my small 10 year old so my teenagers had to put two straps together to play which as only 2 of our 4 guns worked wasn’t too big a deal but we brought it thinking that paying £80 it would be suitable for all the family it is not not to mention the cost of batteries to power it!.Don’t waste your money use the £80 to go out for the day and buy a cheap £10/£20 set which will be 10X the quality of these from Smyths toy store.

I ordered 16 guns/plates (4 boxes) for my 10yo son's birthday on Saturday. Having checked out a few others (and bought and returned Laser X) i think these are the best home laser tag for quality and value for money. Look and feel good. Can receive hits to both gun and chest plate. 4 weapon variation. Good sounds for each. Vibration for shot and hit. Four team colours. No annoying constant beaping noise or connecting cable like Laser X. One thing to improve is the straps for the chest plate - cheap/tacky compared to rest of kit. Broader elasticated straps would be much better. Sadly one gun (out of 16) didnt work. So have had to order another box. Hoping to get refund.

The closer you are the worse the accuracy, and at close range it seems to count as a hit just facing the right way, however the kids have had some good fun with this and with a bit of space between you it's pretty good.
