This is great laundry detergent despite me using more than it recommends. I’m washing a lot of bodily fluids with a disabled family member. It works very well with or without me using baking soda, stain remover or vinegar depending on what the laundry has on it or if a person or a pet. Baking soda and vinegar works well for dog smell and what smell it is. My only complaint is I want a fabric softener to go along with this great scent. I hope someday they make a fabric softener

The detergent has a very nice scent which is not overpowering and it cleans remarkably well. A little goes a very long way! A small capful is listed as the proper amount for half a load. I transferred the detergent to a pump bottle (and determined how many pumps were required to fill the small cap) so that I could list the number of pumps for a small, medium or full load.This method has worked quite well for my family. The amborsia scent probably my favorite, but the Sweet Tea is a nice change of pace. Though several family members have sensitivities to a number of other detergents, none have had any issues with these products.

I really liked this the first few uses and I got away with less than recommended after the initial wash. I really wanted it to help remove the damp odor from my towels. It seemed to do a great job the first few times and now it doesn't. Not sure why my towels suddenly have this odor. Thinking it's related to weather changes but I don't know. Seems like nothing will help. This soap would get 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive because all and all it is really nice and works well for cleaning and brightening, even really dirty stuff. Could get sweat smell out of really bad t-shirts a little better, but sometimes it's just time to replace them I think. I like the light and fresh natural citrus scent also, and I'm sensitive to smells. If it was around $15, which is still a lot for something that only washes 40 or so loads, I'd buy again, but at $20-$35, depending when I've looked, as it has gone up considerably, I won't buy again.

I use this for handwashing clothes, and it's so much better than using Woolite. Pricey but worth it. (If you calculate the amount used and effectiveness, the cost per use is actually cheaper than Woolite!).

I like the smell, and I think it does work significantly better for tough odors than the other natural detergents I have tried. However, it does not work well in my top loading washer. It just doesn't evenly distribute throughout the load. I even did smaller loads than normal and layered the detergent to try to help it spread. But still only the clothes near where I put the detergent get clean and everything else still smells so I don't think they were cleaned. I've started mixing it in with my regular detergent as a booster (I don't just want to throw it out) and putting some on the bottom and some on the top, and the entire load gets clean. It probably works great in other types of machines, and it definitely worked well on the clothes it touched!

We live in a very hot, humid climate. We do a lot of yard work in the summer. Our clothes get very smelly from sweat and body oils. Sometimes our sheets smell too. Just 2 cap fulls of this amazing product really does remove all of the odors. I even took old work clothes out of the closet that have been sitting with odor in them and washed them with 4 cap fulls and they also came out odor free. Remarkable product.

I have tried many different brands of laundry soap to remove the sweat smell from clothes. I am so very happy to say that Roux Maison Sport Laundry Detergent is the best!! No more smell and the laundry feels fresh and very clean. We have a front loader machine and was amazed that I only need the two capfuls to clean a full load of laundry very nicely. Love this product.

I highly recommend this laundry detergent. I have tried many different detergents that are all natural with pure safe ingredients, unfortunately they never quite cleaned my laundry. Clothes, sheets, etc. were always dingy and never had that really "clean" feel. I use an organic deodorant that is made with shea butter among other ingredients and noticed that my old detergent was leaving residue in the arm pit area of my shirts. I kept trying different products until I found Roux Maison Essential Laundry Detergent!! I have only had a chance to use it on two loads of laundry, but I am very happy and quite impressed with the cleaning power using such a small amount of detergent! My clothes were very clean!! Faded spots on some of my t-shirts that I figured were there to stay, dingy light colors that I had resigned myself to as a trade-off for not using harsh chemicals... all gone!! Believe me, since this was the first time I used Roux Maison Essential Laundry Detergent, as I was folding my laundry, I was looking for the stains and residue that I was used to seeing with my old detergent and they were gone! Everything was fresh and clean... Really clean!! I am very happy and will be sticking with this product.

It didn’t get well water minerals out consistently but did work much better than reg he detergent. Bit pricey but you also use capfuls of the product and they are small caps. Trade off.
